Lineup Roll call...what your squads looking like?!!?!

i make starters/bench a fluid concept. i use my bench a hell of a lot. and some games, more than my starters. i run a whole different scheme/concept with my bench/starters. so my "bench squad" is also situation based. tony parker and shaq replace the 1 and the 5 if i need controlled play. but thats my concept for this so far and how i run my team this year.


i should add, this is the first year that i've felt that i didnt need a slutty all diamond squad to play online gameplay with. so i've reserved just going for diamonds for the sake of doing do(although i want Magic shaq really badly)

I run a 12 man rotation. Everybody sees minutes except for JV in my typical games. Current record is 22-4 in MTO.

Edit: I just went back to using Rodman as my starting 4 instead of Bosh. I put Bosh as #13 in the rotation and he doesn't see any minutes. I have enough scoring options with my starters I think my team is better with having the pure defensive Rodman vs the pure offensive Bosh.

hahaha does it work? It's really hard to go undefeated when you're playing elite competition every game! If you just got matched randomly I imagine it would be pretty easy, lotta scrubs out there

20-4 right now. Haven't used this lineup post-patch yet so hopefully i can sweep the emerald league for the diamond shoe.

I play a starting unit, and a bench unit. rest of my lineup is just random bronzes who never touch the court. With the starters I mainly break down the defense with Curry and drive and kick to shooters. The bench unit I mainly utilize pick and roll game using J-Will and Hayward as the primary ball handlers.

Yeah it's funny to see that on the forums and i'd really love to see that in game too.

This mod will be come one of the best of every video game the day where 2k will set a cap point limits to make your team. You'll have to take real choices to make your setup, take bronze or silver cards.

But they never will since that won't make as much money

This to me is proof that team rating plays a big part in matchmaking, I don't care how good you are it would be impossible to go 15-0 with that squad getting the match-ups I see

In a way it's cool, because a crafty player can take advantage of a budget squad, but most these modes are made to promote micro-transactions, and this actually does the exact opposite. If I had known I had a better chance off the hop with a well planned out line-up as opposed to just trying to get the best guys possible I never would have spent a dime.

... if you play blacktop you'll notice everytime you get a Pink Diamond you go up against a better team so that helps prove this theory as well. I wish they were more transparent about how it worked.

Any person who complains about content should take a look at this thread. At the very least there are already a variety of cards to use this year relative to past years.

Also love running 11-13 player rotations. Moving Curry to the bench, limiting his minutes, and handing the keys of my starting unit to Penny has really improved my team on both sides of the ball.

im seeing a lot of amazing blacktop rewards in rosters. i thik my squad is set but i'd love a ruby david west or tyson. im only on level 2 in blacktop. absolutely hate the mode lol

Pray for good board/deck luck. I would trade my ruby Chandler, Artest, and Mcadoo just for Ruby Eddie Jones but I'll never be able to get him because he never showed up for me. I think I still can get Amythest Michael Finley but that's probably the only one in mine that I'd want to try. Some ppl have ridiculously good levels with USA KD, Kyrie, Deandre...I got USA Lowry and Cousins.
