The league count along with a lot of things from 2k don't make sense.

When I was in emerald league, when I got matched up with opponents it showed I was in the sapphire league. Now I am in sapphire league it shows I am in the ruby.

Also I have seen numbers in the silver league fluctuate by serval thousand at different times.
