I've never really used flashy passes before, but Magic gets so many assists that way.

I was worried about demoting Tony Parker to the bench because I worked so hard to get him and a lot of my strategy was built around him offensively, but somehow he's actually been playing even better as my 6th man. Magic comes in and dominates their starter, usually Curry and Westbrook (neither of whom have a chance to contain him) and then they have to completely reorient their defense to deal with Parker's game.

A word of warning though to anyone considering picking up Magic, do NOT give him Posterizer. I had one badge slot left, couldn't decide what final badge to give him since he comes with so many. Decided I couldn't go wrong with a posterizer badge. Wrong. Magic does not dunk, ever. Dunno what it is about his tendencies or if he's just missing animation, but I still have yet to dunk with him in game. For some players that might be a turnoff, but it really doesn't matter because Magic's layups are so OP that it may as well be a dunk. But just word to the wise, save that badge slot.

He doesn't need it no. Post spin operator difficult shots and post hook specialist are the ones I would do. Not home to see what's on their automatically

There's no more Post Hook Specialist. Agree on the Post Spin. Dream-Like could be useful, because of faking the hook. And Drop-Stepper, of course.

He comes with 10 Badges:

1. Tireless Scorer
2. Acrobat
3. Relentless
4. Tear Dropper
5. Ankle Breaker
6. Dimer
7. Flashy Passer
8. Lob City Passer
9. P&R Maestro
10. One Man Fast Break

6 Open Slots

1. Defensive Stopper
2. Pick Dodger
3. Post-Spin Technician
4. Difficult Shots
5. Drop-Stepper
6. Dream-Like

Maybe replace one of the others for Rim Protector? Or Hustle Rebounder or Break Starter.

If you replace Drop Stepper with Bruiser that's exactly how I have him badged up. I found one with 10 gold badges for 49k MT when he was still in packs and added the others myself. I'm guessing he'll be on my team until there's another Magic to replace him.

How effective is the bruiser badge? Can you notice the difference it makes on the opposing player?

I also placed a bruiser badge on Magic. I've seen the badge activate quite generously when playing but I can't quantify the impact.

I figure Magic might be used as a versatile defender if he ever leaves my rotation and ends up as a 11-13 spot. And I would want more defensive focused badges in that case.

Bruiser is a must for Magic! I've found that not only does bruiser lower your opponents stamina, but it also generates a lot of bump animations which are great for Magic. He's so long that when you get a bump it just completely stalls the offense because you're not getting around him.

I would say no to break starter, you want Magic leading your break, not starting it. And I agree that Magic don't need no dunks, but it is kind of annoying to have a 6'8 guy do a layup on a wide open breakaway. But I just wanted to warn people from wasting a badge.

Yeah, bruiser is great. I can't see my opponents energy levels so it's hard to quantify but it activates all the time. Especially because I use him in the post against other PGs.

Duh, yeah...Bruiser is a must on Magic, with the slots he has.

The nothing-but-layups is a bit frustrating, at times. Played Magic in game of Blacktop. Very close, back and forth game vs someone with Diamond Bosh. Must have gotten 3 or 4 Magic layups blocked by Bosh.
