Why does tip off take so long?

It is crazy that 2K hasn't addressed this. I'm wondering if pressing buttons trying to skip the pre-tipoff animations is causing the teams to walk away and switch sides? Or is it just glitchy coding that needs to be fixed?

I played 2 games of PNO for the first time since the game dropped and everything about it felt better and more realistic than MTO. I think 2K has put too many variables that affect the game into MTO that cause so much wonky stuff in the algorithm.

The whole point of MTO is to generate micro transactions. If they think it can make them money, they will try it, customer satisfaction is not their primary concern. I can't say I approve of these new age marketing strategies we're seeing everywhere, they are glorified con-artists. (not calling out 2k specifically)

100% with you Foldzy, MT used to be so much more fun, 2k has gotten greedy to an almost cartoonish level. Never spent a dollar more than the purchase price of this game, and it drives me crazy when I see people around here talking about how much they spent on VC and how crappy the pack odds are. You're the reason they're crappy dumb dumbs! These people are like the idiots at the casino who think if they just play for another hour they can win their money back.
