Re: Best Ruby big man

My vote goes to Hakeem because his post fade goes in everytime and creates more than enough space. Plus he's HOF up and under so if post fade isn't open the up and under is high percentage. Lastly, he's a great free throw shooter. So if you're fouled in any of those post up situations it's easy to knock em down from the line.

Best all around Ruby big is Hakeem.

Then of you want pure defense I'd say both mutumbo and Hibbert are great options.

Well obviously Mark Eaton because I paid an insane price for the human tree stump and now he's locked in so I want to believe it was worth it.

Secondly Brad Daughtery from the Cavs is really good. Smooth offense and bigger and fast for defense. Have a hard time getting him in my lineup unless I just ignore my Ruby Shaq and Diamond Alonzo.

TBF, he's a Human Redwood, not a Human Stump.

Re: Best Ruby big man

So because you are excluding Shaq, does that make him the best Ruby Center? And this thread is to determine who is the 2nd best.

I've thought a few times about picking shaq up but had the pink diamond shaq last year (lockercode typing fast) and I wasn't skilled enough with post moves to fully utilize him. This year i'm much better usering big men.

Could be that you're better. But it's also probably at least partially due to post play just being better this year. More responsive and thus more possible to be a little creative and reactive, rather than linear and routine in what you do.

Then again, with Shaq, it's not really about being creative, so much as it is, just backing down, drop-stepping, and dunking.

LOL I knew someone was going to post that you didn't need to be good with big men to utilize Shaq! That may be the man for me this year. I've done very well with the Muresan, Bol , Bradley types. I figure shaq would be more powerful than Muresan?? Big ole Gheorge is great and backing down and dunking, although sometimes he gets knocked off balance (animation triggers) when going up for dunk. Does that ever happen with Shaq?
