I have him now for the 3rd time. LOL. I felt exactly the same until the most recent. I put Dimer on him, among others, and I use him for the point forward he is. I dont rely on deep 2s or 3s w him. He runs the break like an animal. Great speed and explosiveness. Add pink KD Xmas +6 spd/swb shoe...money. Awesome on the drive. And once you can nail his FT release, that low rating isnt so much of a liability. Hes shooting over 85% last time I checked. Size, strength, good passing stats, solid defender, etc. And FWIW, I am the antithesis of a Lebron fan IRL. lol.
Hes certainly not the Lebron that I WANT, but he stomps over just about anyone else at the 3. I never run him at 4, but with the proper badges, I think he would do well.
At work so I cant check stats.....but in my last few games, hes pulled a few boards, gotten steals, contributed with 4+ assists, etc. Jack of all trades. He also hits at least 1 3pter per game. Clutch blocks...etc.
As far as Kawhi....I think anyone that wants a Lebron card for a pure SF that can 3 and D, Kawhi is the man. But Kawhi isnt going to run the floor. His release is a tad slow for my taste. And while Diamond Kawhi was easily my favorite card last year, the inconsistent FTs w him this year irritate me. Esp for someone that now has a FT rating above 90.
If you want elite D and more reliable outside shooting, Kawhi all the way. If you want someone to be a second guy that can run the offense, can do everything pretty well...Lebron.
