At this point I think it's better to just focus on sticking with the best version of your favourite players you enjoy playing with rather than stressing about minor upgrades and chasing the latest cards.

I'll stick with diamond Alonzo and ruby Hardaway for the duration of the game as they are my top duo ever and just round the lineup out with other fun players.

YOLO, it's only virtual currency anyway. I went berserk yesterday and locked the all around set. I'm currently selling my Penny (although he's better than Rose IMO) and other stuff, to get back some mt. I should be able to afford a few players I really want anyway.

I got rid of everything which wasn't locked
I don't see Rose,Kidd or Amy Bird as my end game cards, so that wasn't a hard decision.
