2K18 My Team Reward Cards revealed in vid

Starts around the 5:40 mark they go over the rewards for completing the current teams and historic. There's also rewards card for completing goals.

Diamond Nash, Maravich, Pink Diamond Shaq, Amy Jermaine Oneal, Saphire J.R. + more are all part of the goal rewards.

Amy Marbury, Abdul Rauf, Bibby, Aldridge, Mikan, Gervin, Gay, Coleman and more are part of the Historic Rewards.

Ruby Jeremy Lin, Richard Hamilton, Larry Hughes, Wilkins, J Will, D Fish, Jason Terry, Mutombo, Tim Duncan, Monta Ellis and more are part of the Current team rewards.

Damn historic completion rewards are only amethysts now. They were all diamonds in 2k17. Idk what to think about this. Feels like it makes sense to complete current sets over historics unless a lot of the historic content is dropped from the beginning. Curious to see how this plays out.

Wow so collector rewards are much harder this year. You can't just reach collector rewards by collecting all sorts of different cards. You hv to literally play and advance to a certain level in every single game mode within myteam to complete a given goal and unlock its reward. Super super grindy but could be good for players that wanted more offline content.

I know a lot of people love to work the auction house and snipe but tbh I never had the patience to do it consistently. To those who can respect, but I much rather this approach where it's going to be based more on in game performance.

I feel ya. It does require patience and a lot of ppl hate doing it. To me I'm ok with either or. I do enjoy the whole auction house aspect and look at it as another game mode within the game itself. It's fun to buy and sell and make profit. It can be frustrating at times but that's what the fun is to figure out trends and adjust to the market.

This approach is def new and can be enjoyable as well. Just comparatively I know it will require a lot more time into the game to achieve those rewards. Even if you weren't as good at auction house it was still easier to get earlier rewards in 2k17. Probably all the way up until Antoine walker which was I think 850 cards. Even if all you did was open packs. But this year not only will you hv to collect and complete certain collections but also keep playing the game to complete the goals. It'll def be fun n lengthen the life of the mode but will take much longer.
