Hey.

Is the only difference between coaches of a same system the amount of strategy cards that can be used?

So the Thibs-to-Pop Defense Upgrade is only about 2-3 strategy cards?

I'm assuming so. That's why I went for Carlisle over Kerr for balanced. It's a difference of only 1 strategy card

I just found out that you can switch your system with any coach. I had Rick Carlisle and he has 3.5? star for Balanced but he also plays 3 star Defense and etc.

I was wondering if someone can check Popovich and see what his other scheme ratings are.

Timeout Menu -> select defensive setting -> boost.

Refill is automatic if you have the cards in inventory.

Can anybody confirm my impressions?

When I play my lineup with Pop, Defense is great, but offense seems less fluid.
Using Carlisle Defense is only slightly worse, but offense seems better.

Do the coaches really influence the players performance in addition to system proficiency?

No. My diamond Popovich combined with players with high def system ratings get attribute boosts in game. Ive yet to play a card in 80 something games.

This was an excellent post. After reading it, I feel like grit and grind is the best option for me, and Spolstra is the highest rated coach that does that. I have Pop and Kerr, both of which sell for near 10K, which is near the price of any sapphire player card. Spolstra is much cheaper and abundant.

Damn Pop goes for 10k. Thats tempting. Id lock Hibbert quicker. Id have to t see how Hibbert and Majerle fit with Spo.

I believe that the higher tier coaches giver a bigger boost with the strategy cards as well. I forget what screen I saw it on but for the coaches it said number of strategy cards they can play and we'll as the boost multiplier, or something along those lines. And the higher tier coaches had higher multipliers.
