New Historic Players will be added to the Throwback Pack every Throwback Thursday starting with 14 Sapphire and Ruby players dropping today! Get started on the road to completing your Historic collections with this wide range of players from around the league. This week features all-around stars like Chris Webber and Dominique Wilkins, and lockdown post players Serge Ibaka and Al Horford. The following players are now available:
- Chris Webber (GS) – Sapphire—The younger version of Chris Webber is a budding offensive star that uses athleticism and quickness to his advantage. Offensive players will enjoy this card.
- Jermaine O’Neal (TOR) – Sapphire—O’Neal is an athletic two-way power forward that runs well in the pick and pop and pick and roll games while protecting the paint as well.
- Luis Scola (HOU) – Sapphire—Scola carries an outstanding 91 Perimeter Centric System Proficiency to go with a solid post game also. He will help patient players who like to move the ball.
- Brandon Knight (DET) – Sapphire—Knight is an athletic point guard made for the Seven Seconds offense, with an 88 System Proficiency and strong offensive numbers across the board.
- Dominique Wilkins (SA) – Sapphire—Wilkins is a pure scoring machine, set to drive and dunk on anyone in his way.
- Serge Ibaka (OKC) – Sapphire—Athletic big man Serge Ibaka has game-changing defensive ability as well as length at the power forward position.
- Nic Batum (POR) – Sapphire—The versatile Batum is a player that fits almost all Systems well and can shoot and slash successfully on offense while holding his own defensively.
- George Muresan (WAS) – Sapphire—Muresan is one of the tallest players in the NBA at 7 feet, 7 inches, protecting the paint for an 85 rating in Defensive System Proficiency.
- Christian Laettner (MIN) – Sapphire—Laettner can make the mid range jumper in pick and pop situations and is ideal for Perimeter Centric, Post Centric, and Triangle players.
- Goran Dragic (PHO) – Sapphire—Dragic is 80 or above in Balanced, Pace and Space, Perimeter Centric, Triangle, and Seven Seconds Proficiencies, making him a great and flexible card.
- Tyson Chandler (NO) – Sapphire—Chandler is the epitome of defense and rebounding, and can finish strong around the basket with dunks as well. Super Max players should enjoy this card.
- Monta Ellis (DAL) – Sapphire—Ellis, ever the crafty dribbler and shot creator, can be a perfect offensive boost for your squad.
- Al Horford (ATL) – Ruby-- Horford is a great all-around Center that will excel in the Perimeter, Grit and Grind, and Defensive System Proficiencies, as well as having the ability to knock down the open three-point shot.
- Byron Scott (LAL) – Ruby—Scott carries an Open Shot 3 rating of a 92, and can get you points in a hurry.
