It's official - No more 5-out

5 out has been taken out of the game after today's update. It still shows in the menu but functions like 4 out 1 in. Da Czar confirmed it in his video.

P. S. Unfortunately, foul boot is still happening smh.

Yep, this is great news.

If I'm correct there is no way round, so also other 5out-ish offenses like Warriors Offense etc. have been changed.

5 out isn't the only freelance that creates that kind of spacing concept. I think he (and I) are wondering will this 5 out nerf affect the spacing of those other freelances with similar spacing concepts.

What's confusing you?
5out freelance has been changed, and so all other similar freelances.
Among those are Warriors and if I'm correct Lakers too, which have been patched.

You said "way round" and made it seem like you were asking a question.

Anyway I just listened to the whole 36 minute stream and there is no mention of any other freelances being changed. Just 5-out which stays 4-1. Da Czar made that clear.

I can also confirm I have the update and just went into a quick game went into Warriors MC ran my play and it worked like it always does so now they have not been changed just 5-out which stays 4-1.

Edit: Lakers works as well.

People been testing the freelances (Warriors, Lakers) after the patch and told me that they have been changed. Ofc they are still in the game, but should differ to pre-patch status.

Will see for myself after work - I'm just sharing the infos I got.

Obviously great news but I wonder if they changed Warriors freelance at all.

Specifically curious if they removed the off ball movement on high screens that was missing in 4 out 1 in. That's kinda been a super freelance for me but I can adjust.

Ive been running the offense it hasnt been touched.

Dont know where this even came from. No dev has mentioned anything other than 5 out.

The offense runs just fine and has nothing to do with the 5 out you select on the dpad.

Add supermax to weekends
Fix foul system
Up difficulty to Superstar

I actually want to play this round because my team is looking real spicy but there's still too many issues.

Amazing news and a step in the right direction! It is just a step though Devs... we need you to make the other adjustments previously mentioned too.

I'll give the game a chance again though, but it is still going to be tough to get me back into it regularly until more stuff is fixed. At least now we have a chance to play real basketball and not this cartoon stuff.
