Moments Challenge #1

Cavaliers game starts in the 2nd half with Cleveland getting the ball and being up by 16 points.

Observations:

• Not only do the Cavs start the half with the ball, Cavs get the ball in the 4th quarter too???
• For the match (Pro), Cavs shoot 3-balls amazingly well. Even Lebron and Rose shoots consectitive threes with hesistation. When Rose starts bombing three's then you know its not on Pro???
• Korver driving to the basket among defenders???.

As the original poster stated, they get the ball to start the half and 4th 1/4. That's just 2K failing to pay attention to details. Happens all the time in the weekly challenges.

Don't rush the time. You have 12 minutes to make up 15 points. You will get a ton of assistance in the way of unforced errors by the Cavs. Keep in mind they don't have any low post presence. Feed your bigs and take your time. If you have pre-order Shaq go ahead and cheese that. Play off ball and shadow Lebron. Again, don't rush, just take it one possession at a time.

I agree that it was super easy. Almost beat it in 1 qtr. Cavs have mostly non shooters so I just protected the paint.

I love when folks get macho and say it was "easy". I guess your version of the game doesn't have LBJ and Derek Rose, etc. shooting three's. Protecting the paint triggered my thread. James and Rose hit consecutive three's in more than one game. Talking about each making 2-3 in a row.

So yeah, if I had your Cleveland team you played against, maybe it would have been easy.

It wasn't that bad, I'd definitely get a solid big and go at either love or crowder. I was using gold Dirk, and I had the lead by the end of the third.

We're all here to help each other. Thats what's OS should be about. I KNOW more than anyone here that you're a better "insert game play mode" better than me. I'm not ashamed to admit it. These forums should allow us to vent. And assist each other to beat the CPU.

Please keep in mind that you have full time working parent who are just trying to enjoy themselves and are looking for pointers. "It's Easy", doesn't help them. If you're gonna be a jerk, say nothing. A lot better than being the alternative.

How did u get Cavs offense to slow down at Dirk's speed?

BTW: Don't get me started on Crowder, thru replays, saw Crowder stepping out of bounds and still recovering to throw up 3-ball corner shots. It's amazing how the CPU can morph players beyond their skills today.

Biggest violation of morphing a player is ZaZa as a CPU-driven Warriors team. ZaZa stands toe-to-toe w/ AD, Deandre, M Gasol, Cousins. He blocks shots, steals, gets rebounds and put-back rebounds regularly with his 74 rating. Yet when I use him, he's a zombie.

I dunno. My experience is that, sometimes, the CPU is way harder than it's supposed to be, then it's a pushover. Either there's no consistency to the CPU buffing or there is no consistency to our human player behavior, or a combination of both.

The first time I played this Cavs challenge, LeBron nailed two threes after sidestepping behind screens, as if he were Curry. In the first minute.

When I beat it on the next attempt, I think I won by around 15, and walking away.

I didn't really have to do much, the Cavs just kept taking bad mid range shots, especially Wade. Also Lebron scored 13, but almost all of that was in the 4th after I had taken the lead.

This challenge is killing me , I'm not great at the game so it's definitely a challenge but the CPU pulls some ridiculous bs on offense. Getting closer to beating it though as i bring in more emeralds and golds.

The final challenge for this weeks weekly challenge is even more ridiculous for me though. Warriors don't miss a shot.

Its pretty easy when you can field a team of diamonds, rubies and amys. Threw AMy Artest on LeBron. Diamond JoJo White on Rose and that was all she wrote.
Won by 21.

If you have a normal team. Half court trap, only control the center and only patrol the paint. The cpu will take bad shots over and over.

Settings on Push the Pace and Run in transition and literally cheese drives to get fts and and 1s and cheese 3's and fast breaks.

I'm always surprised when guys have problems with challenges that I beat, because I suck at this game. I play all the time because I eat & breathe NBA 12 months a year, but I still suck.

I was able to beat the Cavs using "No Three's" defense and playing off ball defense on my 1st try. I was down 9 at the end of 3rd, but still won by 6. I also beat the Warriors on my 1st try (last night) using the same scheme and beat them by 10.

I have a really good team because I have had amazing luck with packs this year, but I feel like playing off ball is the way to go against the stacked teams. It works for me.

Just so you know I am not trolling here, I am so bad I can't get past the Nuggets in domination (don't get me started either, not sure how I barely beat the Kings and can't beat Nuggets, but beat the Warrior challenge. I am convinced they screwed up domination in the last patch.)

It also took me 4 tries to beat the Hawks challenge this week because I couldn't knock down the 4 3-pointers.
