MJWiz is putting in work! Looking forward to your upcoming MJ and Kobe Era rosters and especially your "regular" classic team rosters.

You're on an unbelievable grind--are you just doing NBA 2K23 now or are you still doing a little soccer (football) roster editing? I ask because you're moving through these NBA teams like it's nothing.

Great work as always.

Thanks for your words J! Atm im not doing any editing for the Pro Evolution Soccer\eFootball franchise because the latest edition of the game (eFootball 23) doesnt have an edit mode at all and is basically is just for online guys. There is some talking about a potential DLC with offline modes and an editor but nothing is sure right now. We will see i guess.
So, to answer your question, yeah im only working on NBA 2k23 right now.

Loved this team in my youth. They are the reason I got into NBA basketball!

Gonna run with them for sure in this era. So much fun this team. So dynamic and deadly from everywhere. Playing with Magic is a ton of fun. And pulling off skyhooks? Dude. McAdoo is also so good and he comes off the bench!!!

Former MVP & Scoring king as your 7th\8th man and still got it, scoring 13 ppg in 21 minutes per game? Thats some serious stuff right here.

You can have like 5 different lineups, all super deadly. I always loved the early-mid Lakers teams more than the back-to-back championships teams from 87-88, because Jabbar was still the main offensive option and then you have also McAdoo and Wilkes with young B-Scott and Worthy.
I mean, compare the 1984 Lakers roster and the 1987 Lakers roster. No contest, 1984 all day.

I didn't explain myself well at all. And it didn't have anything to do with YOUR roster set.

What I was asking (since my last 2K basketball game was 2K11 for the 360) was why I'm not seeing any player DNA to download. Not in any rosters, but when I go to the player DNA partition, I never see any players that can be downloaded. Are guys just not sharing them or am I missing something? (I'm asking you here because I respect your work as a long timer here, and was wanting to see what I might be able to do with some personal roster editing. My time is just really eaten up).

What I'm currently doing is going through my 2002-03 roster for my 2K11 set on my 360 and seeing if I need to do any editing and updates. Most have moved on from that - but I play that game around 5 days a week. Thanks for any thoughts here. You do a GREAT job on your work!

Oh, i got it now mate. Just go over "Create a Player", then select import player DNA, and you can decide between copy a player from the 2k Roster or download 1 from the community.

Its a great thing for roster creators

That's just the list of DNA that you've exported to your local files. Like MJ said, you have to create a player or take an existing player and scroll down to "import DNA" and then you can overwrite the appearance, ratings or both of that player with imported DNA from someone else. You can select either another player in the default roster (or the current roster if you're editing a roster when you do it). Or you can select to import DNA from another user and it will bring up a DNA list sorted by number of downloads and you can also search by user name or by terms.
