idk if it was related to me editing their shoes but both Kareem and Worthy lost their goggles inside of my 1983 MyEra

I know if you edit an then import there DNA again the accessories return an then edit them again it should stick atleast that's what I do with my edited roster outside myera with guys losing there glasses like Wendel Carter Jr ect

Ok, so: some of the legends have multiple faces available.
If you go over '84 Kareem or '84 Worthy and try to change their shoes, their '84 face switch to the younger one but dont worry, because all you need to do is go over accessories and select again the face you are looking for before you save your edits.

Keep in mind that not all the versions of the same player have all the faces available. Some example: Kareem young with the bigger afro is only tied to his Bucks versions, on 1971 Bucks and All-Time Bucks.
'84 Lakers Kareem has 2 versions: the smaller afro you mentioned from the late 70s and the one with google and almost bald.
The full bald Kareem with googles instead is available only on his 1987 Lakers version.
So there are 4 Kareem faces availabe in the game overall:
- Early 70s with the big afro -> available for 1971 Bucks and All-Time Bucks
- Late 70s with the small afro -> available for All-Time, 1984 Lakers and '87 Lakers
- Early 80s with almost shaved head and googles -> available for All-Time, '84 Lakers and '87 Lakers
- Late 80s full bald with googles -> available for '87 Lakers
