Custom Roster 've been working on to improve my 2k experience.

Teams untouched
Clippers,Memphis, Hawks, Heat, Hornets, Jazz, King, Knicks, Magic, Pacers, Pistons, Raptors, Rockets, Spurs, Blazers, Warriors, Sun, Thunder, Wizards


Slowly working on a custom Roster that provides a solid head to head experience. It is a bit of a Frankenstein (mix) of 2k real insiders attributes and badges minus the new badges and the badges on justintasha1996 cheeselist. Signatures are grabbed from anywhere on youtube (DaBenjicode is my go to). Playbooks are from the ATD Roster project from last year (mainly to remove buggy plays).

I've complemented with custom sliders that are based around shot timing but make up for my lack of skill. These are heavily influenced by Eccentric set or his explanations of sliders.

Going to adjust rosters to post-deadline and only have 15 players on the teams for simplicity. The rest will be free agents.

Rosters have the trade deadline moves made. Probably need some tidy up. Aiming for 14 players with core contracts on each team.

Ratings- All of 2kinsiders ratings

Badges- All of 2k insiders minus "cheesy" badges or game breaking badges. Badges removed include protouch, volume shooter, green machine, chasedown, rebound chaser, workhouse, vice grip, unpluckable, floor general, hyperdrive, post player, clutch shooter and comeback.

Playbooks- ATD 2k22 playbooks that simplify playbooks and remove broken plays.

Signatures- Collect off of YouTube (Thanks Benji)

Tendencies -Res2 (on the sliders page) brought up some tendency adjustments so I've added those to the todo list.

Updated again. Going to give the tendencies a break. That means ratings*, badges, playbooks and signatures have been done for the top 95% of these teams.

I think I'll focus on all teams playbooks next and then badges for untouched teams and a QA check for finished teams.

Updated Grizzlies (plus playbook)
Updated Kings (playbook still the original, 2k22 they didn't have Sabine's do I would probably switch to Nuggets playbook and play Warriors freelance).

Updated 76ers, Bucks and Griz to play a staggered rotation. This is using the timeline setting. I found even with the minutes looking good a team would sub off the starting 5 for the bench 5 at the 6 minute mark and then starters back at the next quarter.

I've tested with the Griz and now you get starters, then 2 stars playing together(Bane and Jackson), then the other 2 (Brooks and Morant) and a mix of role players.

I was using nbarotations as guidance, hence the Morant Brooks pairing. However, season long date makes role players extremely noisy ao just did my own for 6ers and bucks. No Harrell at PF!

Jazz and Magic badges, ratings and rotations are done.

That leaves Portland, Thunder, Raptors, Rockets, Spurs and 9 of the Pacers at least to finish it off.

This is purely a ps4 port of the 2k insiders roster minus some badges and signature jumpshots done.

I love that the badges are based on tendancies and "show" you how to be successful/play like irl players. This includes role players.

Finished with the final 4 teams.

Attributes:: Completed for the top 12-14 of each roster. All from the 2k Insider, the majority from after the trade deadline.

Badges: Completed for the top 12-14 of each roster. Badges are from the 2k Insider, the majority are from after the trade deadlines. I removed the "cheesy" ones such as pro touch, green machine, clamp breaker etc (see earlier post for full list). I have kept chase down artist and pogo as 2k23 they have limited the effect from 2k22

Signatures: Taken from the work of Da Benji Code and TimSmooth503pa most jumpers have been completed.

Rotations: I've set an advanced rotation for all teams, so rather than coaches making hockey subs (starting 5 for bench 5) stars are staggered. An example of this is when playing the Clippers Paul George OR Kawhi are on the court all the time. I used a basic depth chart for this, however, I did use NBA rotations for some lineups.

Playbooks: Were edited for a select number of teams to start. Bucks, 76ers, Celtics, Clippers, Lakers, Wolves, Warriors, Nuggets and Kings (Nuggets Playbook).

Tendancies: I edited the Clippers and Grizzlies and will probably do more teams once I know the full impact of these edits.
