Funkycorm's PS5 Fictional Draft Classes for NBA 2k24

Hello everyone!

Class 3 has just been released.

File name: funky3
PSN: Doctordoof36


This class is a bit different than the first 2. I took some of the feedback I got and applied it.

This class has the ability to change your franchise if you can find the franchise changing player. There might be more than one but good scouting will tell.

Also watch out, because rumor is that a player in the lottery will miss their first season while they recover from knee surgery.

I think this is my best work on classes yet. I hope you all enjoy.


Other note:

I also made a few more changes to funky1 and funky2. I figured out some new algorithms for potential and back applied them to the first 2 classes, primarily funky1 which was in much need of a potential increase among players.



Class 4 will be started on sometime this week but don't anticipate a quick release as I take a bit of time between classes.

Again a ****ing fantastic job and very well done draft, TJ Bayless is a freaking stud one of the best players I have ever seen be created. LaMarcus Jones looks like a great glue guy star for my team. Gutted I missed on Zach Meyer. But this is a stud class very well done love it. For draft class 4 I would say keep the same thing with people with high physical like 6’10 SF etc but do want a game changing beast center in a Wemby mode tho just a personal request, but keep what you are doing. Love it!

I actually had a ton of fun making this class. I think I spent almost an hour on Bayless alone. I wanted a franchise changing generational talent in this draft and I feel like he is just that. I have a test franchise I have to see how these players play and look on court and he ended up going first to the Hornets. I played with him in a scrimmage and he dominated. He will definitely change the face of any franchise he ends up on

I am actually pretty far into class 4 and already have my first round completed. It should be available by the week's end. I already have my centerpiece talents in that one done. I have kept with the same height theme in this one as well.

But... class 5 will be just around the corner. Especially since I am in a creative mood right now.

I actually generated class 5 but haven't done anything with it yet. I have yet to decide on the centerpiece player or players so I may have to make that personal request a thing in class 5. In fact I think I probably will.

My creative ideas are flowing. I am at work but keep thinking about draft classes. I have solid ideas in place for classes 5 and 6 already.


Class 4 will be released between Wednesday and Friday this week. I plan to finish my editing the next day or two then will do my quality assurance review (lol for lack of a better way to describe my retentiveness.)

Lamarcus Jones is a great connector shame he is stuck behind my starting PG who is just 23 and is a 95. He looks so big and strong in game and Bayless has been a monster so far, he’s my sixth man and he will take over the franchise once my 96 auto generated player starts to decline he’s 27 now. My team is set. Thank you for your classes and work love it. Hoping I get my guy either in class 4 or 5 I am lacking a top class center, really want someone around Meyers height but have a skill set of wemby! But yes keep up the height theme!

You could try having a generation class too like 2003 draft or 1984 draft to have several high talent too just another idea of mine

Quick turn around on it as I had been working on it simultaneously with class 3.


This class is a bit more well rounded. There is not a player that is a full franchise changing talent but there are many players who will be good pieces to a franchise looking for a missing piece. Also, scouting will be your friend in this draft.

What's on tap next:

Class 5 will likely be done after the holiday next week. Flying back to Ohio for a few days so it will push release to post holiday.

Class 5 will focus on the front court a bit. Rumor is that an athletic center from Duke will be declaring for the draft. This will also be the first time in a draft class of mine (ever!) that there will be a younger sibling of a player taken in the lottery of a previous draft of mine. Won't spoiler anything but the brothers have gone to rival schools. I wanted a tie in to a previous class to mesh my class universe together a bit.

Looking a bit further ahead, class 6 will also feature a class creation first for me so I look forward to that. No spoilers.


Ahead past that will be class 7, my likely last one I will be making and releasing this cycle. I really enjoy making classes but at this point I will want to start my own franchise project. With 7 classes from me, plus a handful of others I will be using and editing, I would be ready to roll.

I am not ruling out a class 8 but I like to keep one of my 10 spots open for rotating personal classes in case I advance further into a franchise, one spot open for downloading and editing other classes, and one spot potentially for a wnba class if I mess around with that mode.
