Xbox One - My Career Rosters (Questions)

This question may not exactly be in line with this thread but I am pulling my hair out trying to figure this out......

Is it possible to use your own custom roster instead of the default 2K roster to begin a My Career? If so how do you set it up to use for the My Career?

I will be honest, this new gen 2K14 is confusing as hell!!!

I'm not sure if it still works like this but you can just try customizing the roster then starting a career right after. Idk if it'll work though the new way you can't really load rosters anymore.

Create your roster then upload it like it ask you to.

Start your myGM.

On settings for myGM it says use custom roster or something like that. Pick that and when you continue you will then have the option of selecting which roster you want to use in your season from the cloud.

It took me forever to figure this out!

Yeah I just saw that. The freaking names for these things are too similar! I'll bet it works the same way though if you try it.

I have tried everything and it keeps loading up the generic 2K roster. SMH, such a disappointment so far =(

It doesn't unfortunately now weHAVE to wait for 2k to update the rosters

What do you guys think about calling 2k and asking why our customization options, have for the most part, been taken away from us? Maybe if we annoy them enough we'll get some answers.

Great News!

I was just advised by Ronnie 2K that after this patch goes live this week we will be able to save custom rosters to our hard drives and use those rosters in My Career!!!! The 2K roster update will immediately follow the patch.

I found out a trick to using your own rosters in MyGM.

After creating and uploading your own rosters, go to MyGM and choose 'Yes' for the custom rosters option. When you are prompted to select a set of rosters, go to the last option on the list. It will show a different gamertag, but it is YOUR rosters. It's very odd.

It worked for me at least.
