NBA 2K back up positions

What percentage of court time should a NBA player play before considering it his back up position on 2K?

when I say back up position, I mean secondary position.

at least 40% Maybe 35% depending on who the player is.

Thank you. I've been trying to ask around to get a rough idea how others handle this situation in regards to how I handle mine and then maybe I can find a happy medium.

I use 82 games and just use an honest assessment. In all reality, 2K's rosters actually do a pretty good job with positions, only a few need tweaking.

Do you base it off of the current season only or look back a few years and see how position breakdown from previous seasons? Basketball reference also has a breakdown of each players time on the court as well. Does 82 games have a more accurate set of data when it comes to that?
