Draft Class #1 Small Forward Scouting Report
PSN: JazzMan_OS
File Name: JazzMan Fictional #1

Small Forward

David Walker,
the upcoming freshman for Michigan, is an excellent two-way player already at such a young age. The young Walker is a Canada native, having been born and raised in Toronto. Walker is a scary finisher inside on offense, and possesses solid ball handling skills. Though his jumper remains mysterious (he shot just 6 three pointers his senior year in high school, making 2), Walker's versatility could prove himself to be a stretch-4 for the Wolverines this season.

Defensively, Walker has the potential to be elite. With his size, speed, and strength (6'6", 242), he can defend four positions at the NBA level, and all five in college ball. It appears that the young Canadian has all the makings to be an excellent wing this league for years to come.

David Walker - SF, 6'6", 242 lbs, 19 years old, Michigan
Strengths: Good finisher inside, solid ball-handling and passing skills, good rebounder for a wing, high defensive potential

Weaknesses: Questionable jumper, could be stuck with the dreaded tweener lable

NBA Comparison: Demarre Carroll

----------------------------------------------------

UCLA's enigmatic senior Tommy Kim is returning for his final season as a Bruin this year. Kim has been a mainstay for the Bruins since his breakout sophomore season, where he averaged 15 points and 5 assists a game. He upped his totals up last season, averaging 18 points and 6 assists, but his efficiency dipped down a bit due to the extra usage. But if last year taught us anything, it's that Kim is going to make an excellent role player in the NBA. His combination of shooting and passing is going to make him a very desirable man come this June, as NBA coaches love a guy with Kim's size (6'7", 195) who can handle the ball and distribute while stretching the floor.

Tommy Kim - SF, 6'7", 195 lbs, 22 years old, UCLA
Strengths: Solid catch and shoot guy, excellent facilitator and distributor, can attack the paint and finish, will hit the glass on occasion

Weaknesses: Pretty limited athletically, below-average defender

NBA Comparison: Mike Miller

----------------------------------------------------

Other Notable Small Forwards

Sherman Edwards - SF, 6'8", 235 lbs, 21 years old, Marquette
Strengths: Fairly athletic for his size, strong, decent defender, hits the glass well

Weaknesses: Low IQ on the offensive end, struggles with his jumpshot

NBA Comparison: Kenneth Faried

Roman Taylor - SF, 6'7", 206 lbs, 22 years old, Wisconsin
Strengths: Elite shooter from distance, can help on the boards, has not missed a game due to injury since high school

Weaknesses: Pretty limited athlete, below-average defender, not a great finisher inside

NBA Comparison: Martell Webster

Itsi Marai - SF, 6'8", 241 lbs, 21 years old, Hungary
Strengths: Possesses plenty of range on his jumper, deceptive athlete, always seems to get the ball in the corner for a three

Weaknesses: Not a good rebounder for his size, "tweener," pretty bad defensively

NBA Comparison: Omri Casspi

Draft Class #1 Power Forward Scouting Report
PSN: JazzMan_OS
File Name: JazzMan Fictional #1

Power Forward

The power forward position is a fairly loaded position in today's NBA, as the position continues to get more and more versatile on both offense and defense. Indiana's sophomore big man Junior Baylor is the epitome of versatility when it comes to the power forward position. Baylor proved in his freshman season that he can be a dangerous outside shooter while playing tough low-post defense and being a fierce rebounder on the glass. Baylor's size, skill, and athleticism should enable him to play positions 2-5 at this level as he becomes just one of the many "positionless" players in the NBA.

Junior Baylor - PF, 6'10", 216 lbs, 19 years old, Indiana
Strengths: Excellent rebounder, great athlete, versatile at both ends of the floor, dangerous outside shooter, great hustle guy

Weaknesses: Needs to add strength, a bit erratic in his shot selection, really struggled at the line last year

NBA Comparison: Jeff Green

----------------------------------------------------

Young German big man Denis Hammonds has been Dirk Nowitzki's biggest fan - and student - since he got into basketball in his early teens. Hammonds grew up watching the 7-foot Nowitzki do things that no other 7-footer has done before in the NBA, and Hammonds is looking to emulate that. When Hammonds was 17, he worked with Nowitzki over the offseason during a Germany national team camp, where Hammonds was truly first discovered by NBA scouts. Though Hammonds is still incredibly raw, his length and athleticism combined with a soft shooting touch and Dirk's tutelage could make young Denis a formidable forward in this league.

Denis Hammonds - PF, 6'11", 221 lbs, 19 years old, Germany
Strengths: Fairly high basketball IQ for someone as raw as he is, has the tools to be a great shooter, deceptive athlete, decent defender

Weaknesses: Needs to add strength, not too consistent on his three ball yet, needs to get a "mean streak"

NBA Comparison: Dirk Nowitzki

----------------------------------------------------

Other Notable Power Forwards

Harvey Faulk - PF, 6'9", 227 lbs, 22 years old, Villanova
Strengths: Pretty capable post-up option, decent low-post defender, gets to the line often

Weaknesses: Provides no floor spacing, tweener

NBA Comparison: JJ Hickson

Randall Bowden - PF, 6'11", 235 lbs, 23 years old, Fresno State
Strengths: Very quick for his size, pound-for-pound one of the strongest players in the draft

Weaknesses: Very raw on both ends of the floor, probably won't get much better at his age

NBA Comparison: Ekpe Udoh

Re: JazzMan's 2k15 Fictional Draft Classes (PS4)

Draft Class #1 Center Scouting Report
PSN: JazzMan_OS
File Name: JazzMan Fictional #1

Center

Nebraska's Tyrone Fitzgerald
has helped make Nebraska a competitive program in the tough Big Ten. Fitzgerald is a native of Nebraska, born and raised in Omaha. Instead of bolting to powerhouses like Michigan, Ohio State, or Kansas, Fitzgerald stuck around and signed on with the Huskers. 3 years later, and he's one of the top big men in the country. Fitzgerald's combination of size (6'9", 293 lbs), shooting stroke, and post-up ability makes him a force to be reckoned with on the offensive end.

His rebounding prowess makes up for some of his shortcomings on the defensive end, where his lack of agility and quickness takes a bit of a toll. Regardless, Tyrone's strength and size makes up for some of that quickness that he lacks.

Tyrone Fitzgerald - C, 6'9", 293 lbs, 21 years old, Nebraska
Strengths: Great shooter from midrange, arguably the best post-up option in the draft, relentless rebounder

Weaknesses: Heavy-footed, commits some bad turnovers, not sure if he can be a stretch 4 without a 3 point shot and some quickness

NBA Comparison: Jared Sullinger

----------------------------------------------------

How does Kentucky continually pull talented big men? Another stud freshman big in Leslie Lucas is long, strong, and oh so talented. With a budding post game already, Lucas looks to be the top freshman this season, and as is Kentucky tradition, he looks to leave early for the draft and be one of the top picks, as well. Lucas is a staggering 7'1", but has plenty of athleticism to boot, too. Though he's shown flashes of being elite on the offensive end, it's his defense that's more than likely going to land him a top pick this June. Lucas is without a doubt the best low-post defender and rim protector in the draft. We'll see if he can become a top center next season.

Leslie Lucas - C, 7'1", 262 lbs, 19 years old, Kentucky
Strengths: Very long, super athletic for his size, runs the floor well, high upside on both ends of the floor

Weaknesses: Still raw offensively, needs to develop a post-move or two before he can be considered average offensively, poor free throw shooter

NBA Comparison: Joel Embiid

----------------------------------------------------

Other Notable Centers

Vladimir Semenko - C, 6'11", 239 lbs, 23 years old, Russia
Strengths: Can catch and shoot from just about anywhere, good finisher inside, capable passer, excellent on the defensive glass, fairly athletic

Weaknesses: Not much upside left, gets lost on pick and rolls too often, no post game to speak of

NBA Comparison: Andrea Bargani

Douglas Turner - C, 7'0", 270 lbs, 21 years old, College of Charleston
Strengths: Decent jumper, great size, very strong in the post

Weaknesses: Not athletic at all, below-average finisher at the basket, poor rebounder for a center

NBA Comparison: Jason Smith

Ronny Gary - C, 6'11", 254 lbs, 21 years old, Canada
Strengths: Fairly capable low-post scorer, decent defender

Weaknesses: Hasn't played competitively in over a year, streaky jumper, not a good rebounder

NBA Comparison: Ronny Turiaf

Draft Class #2 Point Guard Scouting Report
PSN: JazzMan_OS
File Name: JazzMan Fictional #2

Point Guard

Although there's not exactly a clear-cut top point guard in this year's draft prospects, there are a handful of guards who look like they could become floor generals for contenders for years to come. Wisconsin's Jacob Reynolds is a crafty guard who uses his combination of shooting touch and distribution skills to operate an offense. Reynolds was the Big Ten Player of the Year last season after leading the Badgers to a Big Ten Championship, and he looks to repeat that success this season with Wisconsin.

Jacob Reynolds - PG, 6'1", 176 lbs, 20 years old, Wisconsin
Strengths: Excellent shooting stroke from outside, one of the best free throw shooters in the country, incredible passer at the college level, team-first player

Weaknesses: Not as athletic as you'd want a point to be, below-average defender, lacks size and strength

NBA Comparison: JJ Barea

----------------------------------------------------

Cornell's Jevon Porter came out of nowhere last year as a freshman for the Big Red. Porter led Cornell to an NCAA tournament berth as he averaged almost 20 points a night in the regular season. Porter was not heavily recruited by the top colleges in the country, despite his clear talents and intelligence. He enrolled at the Ivy League school and has not turned back since, as he's become one of the most prolific scorers in the nation today.

Jevon Porter - PG, 6'4", 188 lbs, 20 years old, Cornell
Strengths: Can fill it up in bunches, solid touch from about anywhere on the court, possesses elite ball-handling skills, could be an elite defender with his length and quickness

Weaknesses: Lacks a high basketball IQ, not much consistency on his three ball, hasn't been the distributor he was in high school

NBA Comparison: Jeff Teague

----------------------------------------------------

Other Notable Point Guards

Lamar Tiggs - PG, 5'11", 177 lbs, 20 years old, Florida
Strengths: Arguably the best athlete in the draft, pretty good ball-handler, excellent finisher inside

Weaknesses: Definitely needs work on his jumper, poor IQ

NBA Comparison: Nate Robinson

Stephon O'Bryant - PG, 6'0", 179 lbs, 19 years old, West Virginia
Strengths: Very good catch and shoot option, pretty solid passer, great defender on the perimeter

Weaknesses: Needs consistency offensively, very poor offensive IQ

NBA Comparison: Mario Chalmers

Re: JazzMan's 2k15 Fictional Draft Classes (PS4)

Draft Class #2 Shooting Guard Scouting Report
PSN: JazzMan_OS
File Name: JazzMan Fictional #2

Shooting Guard

This year's shooting guard class is filled with explosive finishers and athletic scorers. Perhaps the most athletic and explosive of them is USC freshman Terrence Buckner. Buckner is a Los Angeles native who grew up on Kobe Bryant and Laker basketball. So naturally, Buckner was a gifted scorer in high school, as he led his team to two straight district championships, and one state championship. Buckner's physical tools are obvious, but it's his high basketball IQ on both ends that makes him such a great prospect. For such a young player, he's very knowledgeable about the game and its fundamentals.

Terrence Buckner - SG, 6'5", 188 lbs, 19 years old, USC
Strengths: Elite athleticism, prototypical size for a two-guard, high basketball IQ, natural scorer

Weaknesses: Questions about his versatility offensively, not as great of a distributor as he should be, has some inconsistency on his jumper

NBA Comparison: Kobe Bryant

----------------------------------------------------

Michigan's Michael Webber had a chance to enter the draft last year after a stellar redshirt junior campaign, but he instead opted to stay for his redshirt senior year in order to play with his younger brother and freshman, Nicholas Webber. Michael is a deadly shooter from distance, but he can also work it inside and use his crafty moves to get it up and over bigger guards and forwards. Despite being 23 years old already, Webber has the potential to be a mid-1st round pick due to his shooting ability and versatility.

Michael Webber - SG, 6'5", 213 lbs, 23 years old, Michigan
Strengths: Excellent shooter, high-IQ player, decent distributor

Weaknesses: Poor on-ball defender, not much upside left at 23 years old

NBA Comparison: J.J. Redick

----------------------------------------------------

Other Notable Shooting Guards

Joey Miller - SG, 6'7", 224 lbs, 19 years old, Duke
Strengths: Capable three-point shooter, deceptive athlete, finishes in traffic at the rim

Weaknesses: Low basketball IQ, inefficient ball-handler and passer, poor defender

NBA Comparison: Nick Young

Zach Vaughn - SG, 6'6", 210 lbs, 19 years old, Germany
Strengths: Excellent playmaker, can play either guard spot or small forward, good finisher, surprisingly good rebounder

Weaknesses: Hasn't been good defensively, not an exceptional athlete by any means, inconsistent shooter from outside

NBA Comparison: Alexy Shved

Leonard Anthony - SG, 6'5", 190 lbs, 20 years old, Kansas State
Strengths: Good shooter, has shown great distribution skills, high-upside

Weaknesses: Not yet a good - or average - defender, lacks strength to finish inside with contact, relies on jumper a bit often

NBA Comparison: James Harden

Re: JazzMan's 2k15 Fictional Draft Classes (PS4)

Thank you JazzMan for all the hard work that you do when making these draft classes and scouting reports! I thoroughly enjoyed last years classes (Won 2 titles with Jeremiah Jackson!) and look forward to starting a new MyLeague with the ones you just released.

Keep up the good work bud and thanks again!

Thank you JazzMan for the DCs they are awesome! Question about the scouting reports...
