You'll be using 2K15s rating system, right? (3-5 players above 90, most "common" starters below 80, most prospects around 68-74, ...)
Otherwise it won't be compatible with a bunch of stuff.

I've started background research on 1988-1989 and 1989-1990, with a few surprise teams to fill in the gaps for the teams that didn't exist. I was planning/hoping to develop draft classes for the next several seasons; I'm going to make the roster Franchise Mode friendly (so I'm going for realistic potential ratings and contracts reflecting what players were actually making [scaled up to account for inflation, of course]).

I thought this time period could be fun because it was a cool bridge between the Lakers-Celtics-Sixers-Bucks era of the early-to-mid 80s with the Bulls-Pistons-Spurs-Knicks-Pacers, with a bunch of interesting wild cards. Not sure whether to go with 88-89 or 89-90 yet.

I'm decent at the editing, but I'm not so good at faces and stuff - my CAPs tend to look like refugees from a nuclear blast site. Also, it's a LOT of players. I would absolutely welcome a partner, or two, or four. Anyone interested?

Sorry I don't have pictures up, turned 21 this weekend and ya know, didn't exactly get on 2k much haha I will continue to work on this though. I love this season because my kings are still kinda in their glory days and the stars of today are still young

If you follow the ratings pattern of previous 2K's (all best players of a generation at 99, lots of guys above 90, difference between Caboclo and Nogueira being bigger than between Anthony and James...) the roster will end up incompatible with the generated classes and player development of MyGM because of the different style.

Game settings would simply not match.

So it's better we pay attention to that.
