Reducing players size & weight

Hey,

Might be a stupid idea but has anyone ever tryed to reduce players size/weight by 15%. Would it improve the on court spacing ?

I feel the players size to court ratio is still a little off.

The court is absolutely too small or the players are too large, this is clear after playing Live15.

What I did was decrease the HELP DEF STRENGTH to 25 for both HUM & CPU, this opened up the court a ton and made it feel like there was much more room.

Totally going to try this.

Re: Reducing players size & weight

We as a whole (The OS community) have pretty much said we feel that either player models are too big or the court is too small for years. I really don't think it's going to change at all. We are just going to have to live with it.

2K13 I reduced height by 2 inches across the board for everyone and it helped immensely with spacing.

2K14, 2K did a slightly better job and I only increased them by 1 inch and again, I think it did a great job more realisticly mimicking NBA spacing as well.

This year I would like to, but I don't without RED MC or any global editors, I don't know if I'm going to be partaking in any such activity this year, even though I feel that the inch off of everyone would be absolutely perfect and make a great game even better.

You'll see that you'll have to adjust shooting, as well as defensive sliders as well to account for the lack of size, 2K puts that inch at a premium, if you don't, you'll see shooting % increase 5-7% on average, as well as points in the paint being much more prevalent.

If you

Allright. Yeah I figured that might brings other issues and might not be that simple. I don't know why they can't get that right.

Live actually exaggerates space. Watching games tonite and 2k seems 1:1 .

From watching Live15 on Twitch and playing the demo for a couple quarters I feel like EA overdid the spacing (the court feels too large/player too small, more like small conf college basketball spacing).

2K is too tight, everyone feels bunched in the lane.

I would be happy with a game that fell in between Live & 2k, that would be about perfect for a video game representation.
