I'm kinda just winging it and adjusting as I play. I did my 00-01 roster for 2k13 all off the top of my head. I'm kind of a stats guy so I've memorized about how much most players used to average with all parts of the game. Like how Robert Horry would regularly airball 3's unless it's in crunch time haha. But the games I've played (quite a few with all match ups of all teams I have completed) the stats play out really close to how games were played that season. The twin towers dominate the game in San antonio, everything runs through Shaq first for the lakers, the Kings move the ball and are the greatest show on court, Wizards play through MJ, Pacers get Reggie running off lots of screens, and the rockets are still a slight work in progress but so far it's a lot of ball movement and drive and kicks mixed in with some Yao post ups. It's unfortunate that 2k caps the height at 7'2" for created players that aren't myplayers. But I did find a 7'4" white guy that SLIGHTLY resembles Yao from a distance so I went with that so he would at least have an advantage like he did while he played.
