Hes 12 will be in 8th grade next year. So technically if hes a 1 and done, won't be in the league til at least 2024

I've never done a full season / "franchise" in 2k - at what point do you get to import each year's draft class?

You can import them in whenever. I started a "Start Today" mode recently and at first it didn't give you the option to upload a draft class when I started like it normally would, I went to the Draft Board and found that there was an auto generated draft class. But in that menu you can upload still and it worked out. So even if you're late into a Franchise already, go to the draft board where it has all the prospects listed and you can upload it there just by selecting one of the players.

Then when you complete a full year, it should prompt you if you would like to upload a class or auto generate one for the upcoming season.
