Question for people making rosters and others who are editing tendencies. How do you reduce the amount of isolations and CPUs contested close shot attempts. And raise 3pt shot attempts for that matter. If i am playing against the Thunder or Lakers the majority of their plays is just isolation LeBron or Westbrook in the post.


What are some of the biggest most important global tendency edits that this game need that if you were making a roster would do right off the bat?


For example it really looks bad when CPU enters the paint and just stands there but I am not sure how to remove that or at least reduce it. Reducing iso tendency, drive tendency, close shot tendency on the global level? But would that affect simulation stats when playing myleague/mygm?

Reduce the 4 iso tendencies and the close shot tendenciy, they don't affect sim stats. Then raise a bit the dish to open man tendency in order to have more drive-and-kick plays for the CPU. Also take a look of the play-types of the player, if he has isolation in his first 2 types he's gonna run a lot of them.

For the 3's raise the 3pt tendency but most importantly the entire league has an horrible scale for transition spot up/cut tendency, so it's very difficult to see a three if even JJ Redick attacks the basket off the ball during a transition.

I found the simple solution of raising the global 3 point tendency does a lot of good.

Ive got some teams attempting 35+ against me.

It works though. I get bombing teams taking 35+, Spur and Wolves less than 25.
