LNB2K18 Argentine Basketball League (PS4)

This year I did not create any FIBA Roster, I went with my second version of LNB2K. Covering the top tier Argentine league for the 2017-2018 season. Last year I created this league after finishing the FIBA roster.

It has all 20 teams and more than 300 created players from scratch with accurate looks, signatures and ratings.

All 20 teams have their current kits and stadiums plus a sliders set to accurate represent game tempo and style. Also all coaches have been recreated. The idea is in a near future to complete all assistants coaches, General Managers, CFOs, etc.

Roster was launched on twitter for the argentine community (@LNB2K) a few weeks ago and now it has more than 1k downloads.

Some players you may know if you watch FIBA basketball (there are some former NBA players):

Argentina: Gabriel Deck, Paolo Quinteros, Marcos Mata, Hernan Jasen, Eric Flor, Juan Pablo Vaulet, Maximo Fjellerup, Walter Herrmann
USA: Justin Williams, Darington Hobson, Dar Tucker, Isaiah Swann, Dwayne Davis, Vincent Simpson, Donald Sims, Jerome Meyinsse, Justin Keenan, Maurice Kemp, Shaquille Johnson, etc.
Puerto Rico: Ricky Sanchez, David Huertas, Guillermo Diaz & Ramon Clemente
Spain: David Doblas
Greece: Fotios Lampropoulos
Croatia: Zvonko Buljan
Dominican Republic: Victor Liz, Rigoberto Mendoza
Cuba: Javier Justiz, Reynaldo Garcia
Uruguay: Mathias Clafani, Luciano Parodi, Santiago Vidal
Venezuela: Jose Materan
Brazil: Gerson Santo, Daniel Bordignon
UK: Matthew Bryan-Amaning
Cameroon: Gaston Essengue
Angola: Joaquim Valdelicio
Colombia: Michael Jackson

Teams
  • Argentino (Junin) (Sixers)
  • Atenas (Cordoba) (Jazz)
  • Boca Jrs (Buenos Aires) (Warriors)
  • Comunicaciones (Mercedes) (Lakers)
  • Estudiantes (Concordia) (Bucks)
  • Ferro (Buenos Aires) (Celtics)
  • Gimnasia (Comodoro) (Twolves)
  • Hispano Americano (Rio Gallegos) (Hornets)
  • Instituto (Cordoba) (Rockets)
  • La Union (Formosa) (Thunder)
  • Obras (Buenos Aires) (Pacers)
  • Olimpico (La Banda) (Spurs)
  • Penarol (Mar del Plata) (Magic)
  • Quilmes (Mar del Plata) (Heat)
  • Quimsa (Santiago del Estero) (Pistons)
  • Regatas (Corrientes) (Mavericks)
  • Salta Basket (Salta) (Kings)
  • San Lorenzo (Buenos Aires) (Clippers)
  • San Martin (Corrientes) (Cavs)
  • Weber Bahia (Bahia Blanca) (Grizzlies)

How to set up the league:

Roster name: LNB2K18 under user nico1270
Kits: all under user nico1270
Sliders: user nico1270
Rules: 29 games, 5 fouls out, 10 minute quarters.
Playoffs: All 5 games, except finals 7 games
House Rules: Select all teams, injuries off recommended.

After downloading kits, apply these two fixes due to profanity:
Entre Rios Estudiantes: rename city to Concordia
Cordoba Instiuto: Rename team to Instituto

Best teams to play if you do not know the league
  • San Lorenzo: back-to-back Champions. Looking for the threepeat. Almost unbeatable. (Defeated Barcelona and Real Madrid during the preseason in a trip to Spain. Played the Toronto Raptors last year)
  • Instituto: great team with Dwayne Davis leading it and Sam Clancy on the post. Both PG are super good.
  • San Martin Corrientes: strong post game
  • Olimpico: great set of players

Best players

This is awesome. Hope you also do a FIBA roster again for NBA 2K18.

Not for this year, there are no big international tournaments. Nationals Teams are playing without nba and euroleague players. Probably will wait for the FIBA World Cup 2019 (August-September '19). I would say NBA2k20...

Re: LNB2K18 Argentine Basketball League (PS4)

FYI, a new update has been uploaded (v20).

It comes with DeJuan Blair who joined San Lorenzo and a few small fixes to team rotations.

First, congratulations on a job well done again, Nico. Definitely one of the best roster makers here.

Second, I am saying this now, count me in for your possible FIBA World Cup project.

Sure! It will be hard withouth EuroLeague players. But on NBA2k20 I will take a shot at it.
