NCAA 2K19 Community Project

I know the game is still a few weeks from release, but thought that it would be better to start the discussion now. Now that we can share created players, we can each do different teams and share them on a giant college roster on a group account. Also for this to work, we need to make sure we make authentic courts and jerseys. We could have a couple guys who are good at photoshop do team fonts, and the rest of us can split up the roster. Let me know if this is something that sounds cool to you.

I'll be creating all teams from the Atlantic 10 Conference with realistic player appearances, attributes, tendencies, etc. and realistic jerseys and courts. This will include:

If we are eventually going to combine everything into a group roster, can we agree on a ratings system first so all teams are equal to some degree.

Like either relatives ratings with the best players nationally at 80s roughly or unrealistic where the best players are in the 90s.

I can’t help right now because I don’t have time, but I would like to at some point do a smaller conference. Maybe the Ivy or America East.

Yes, I agree. I have all ratings for my teams done, and the highest is Kellan Grady (81), who is a potential lottery pick. Most of the rest are in the 70's, and there are some freshmen/bench players in the 60's. My plan is to combine this roster with Skillz', so I looked at his ratings from last year and tried to stay consistent and realistic with mine.

I created ratings, tendencies and sigs of 10 teams last month when I planned on doing a college roster. My ratings are totally different though, my highest player rating is a 79.

I had created Duke, Kentucky, Oregon, Vanderbilt, Indiana, Kansas, North Carolina, USC & UCLA.

Yeah my original plan was to combine my roster with Infamous's roster like I did the last two years, so my ratings at first were all somewhat lower for consistency. When I saw you weren't doing it this year and Skillz was, I bumped the top guys up more to be consistent with what Skillz' roster might look like. I can adjust pretty easily thought if need be.

That looks real accurate based on how the game truly ranks guys, since the top rookies come in between like 77 and 81. Most of the guys I have in that range won't even make the NBA.

For reference to anyone wanting to make rosters for this project, my top 10 guys in the A-10 are:

These will be adjusted some once the season gets going and transfers show their skills. I wish we could figure out how to pick and choose teams from different accounts. The 5 player max DNA sharing is a bummer.

You can upload a roster, put the CAPS as free agents and then have someone export the dna of each player.

A small but nice improvement I noticed is when you "relocate" all-time and classic teams is it takes out the word "all-time" or the year from the team name. So it won't say, for example, "'90-'91 Blue Devils" or "All-time Spartans" when they're just the current rosters.
