Great roster. Been using this ever since you posted this. Few things I noticed is that you didn’t update Embiid’s contract and that you didn’t do the trade for Olynyk and Derrick Jones Jr. to the Mavs. Haven’t noticed anything else

Yikes, good catch! Missing a contract update on the very first player who appears on the roster is not a good look lol just fixed it!

The Jimmy Butler sign & trade was originally reported to have involved Dallas, but they removed themselves from the deal. It instead became a four team trade between the Heat, 76ers, Trail Blazers, and Clippers. So Olynyk, DJJ, and Dragic are all still on the Heat, as they were the pieces that would've gone to Dallas to make the money work in that scenario

I dont know if this has been fixed, but some of the ratings are different than the official 2k rosters.

The last time I downloaded, Giannis was only a 92, when hes really a 96. I noticed one or two other guys that were different as well.

This is exactly the type of update I'm looking for, since people that make their own rosters often have certain young players with ridiculous potential. I've seen Brandon Ingram at 95, and that kind of stuff screws with myleague.

Glad you brought this up

The overall rating number looks different because I changed his position to PF (his actual position). If you move him back to SF, he'll be back to a 96. I haven't touched any player attributes in the roster.

The exact opposite effect happens for Zion. If you change him from PF to SF, his rating jumps up to 85 from 81. Kyle Kuzma jumps from 83 to 87 going from PF to SF.

2K's ratings formula has a major flaw with how it rates hybrid bigs. Probably the sole reason they haven't changed Giannis' position in the game, as that would look really bad on the surface...it's pretty clear that 2K tries to cover its formula flaws with the "intangibles" attribute.

The crazy potential ratings drove me crazy lol a big reason I started doing CAP's
