Mycareer roster: some question

hi guys, a doubt I've always had on mycareer

if I start a new career today with 2k20, then later the 2k releases updates to the roster and maybe even to the gameplay, will these updates be present without having to start a new career again?

The moment you start your career, I assume that as a roster you rely on the official 2k roster, if then the 2k makes changes on this roster, I lose these changes?

Your roster should stay the same, (ex. KD, Klay all healthy and playing, etc)
The gameplay patches should update though so you would get the latest gameplay feel.

So if there is a change to gameplay of course i play with the new gameplay, BUT sometimes, 2k release some changes to the tendencies in their official roster, i will find this changes in mycareer?
I have serious doubts about this

Tendencies are roster related, so no, you will not get them.
