Cpu doesn’t take out players getting into fouls trouble, is there a fix?

I’m using the great Fidel1978 roster.
Today I was Playing against the Magic, Howard made 3 fouls in the first quarter and he was kept in the game. Is there a way to fix it?! Making the CPU take players out when getting into fouls trouble?

Ive been wondering about this also. I remember it was either 2K18 or 2K19 the CPU would actually sub their player if they got in foul trouble in the first quarter. I've been trying to search for a settings fix for this also.

Exactly! Until 2k19 the CPU recognized fouls trouble, even on the 3rd quarter the CPU recognized 4th foul and will sub the player out. Since 2K20, no subs at all. It’s really bugs me
