In this video we can see the great Alonzo Mourning controlled by the CPU, getting a screen from Wade and tossing it for an alley Hoop
How?
Why?
Is it a playbook thing?
POE thing?
Is there a way I cane make this S*** to stop?!
It’s just numbly stupid!!!
If anyone knows if there is a way I would really appreciate it you guys

need way more info. how often does this happen per game? how many games have you played where this has happened? how many different teams does this happen with? which roster are you using? default? i dont think this has ever happened to me, not even once.

Yeah this could be between the plays, play type, sliders, or playbook.

need way more info. how often does this happen per game? how many games have you played where this has happened? how many different teams does this happen with? which roster are you using? default? i dont think this has ever happened to me, not even once.

It happens few times per a game specific with the 06’ Heat and just few more teams.
The roster is edited by me, I’ve changed all play types for all the players + full tendencies were made for all the teams that I’ve edited.

I have another question, I do I get bigs like Shaq to it spread the floor to the corner and just stand beyond the 3pt line?! Seeing Shaq standing there is just frustrating and not realistic at all

Yeah this could be between the plays, play type, sliders, or playbook.

ZO for example play-types are just: low post and roll man, I’ve looked at the 06’ heat playbook and there is no such play even similar to the one that i showed here

Ah okay I also just saw your other post too cause I deep dive in editing rosters. I checked out the heat. So how 2k calls plays is complicated but some teams especially the classic teams playbooks are hardcoded with freelances that we can't edit. When a play in the playbook finishes/stops running it goes into "freelance" where they do certain actions which is why Zo/Wade did that. You can change the freelance for yourself but not the CPU.

You can change their playbook to "Team 1 playbook" and the freelance won't happen as much.

It’s not a different version of the game.
It’s two different players with different attributes, different tendencies, different playbooks, different freelance systems and even more but you get the picture right?!).
2K doesn’t give us the users enough control to edit rosters As much as we want to.

I think the problem is how the rosters turnover into gameplay. They don't always correlate. I personally like when the man in the middle makes plays though, regardless of who it is. The post game is just so limited because everyone is so packed in like a little kids league.

that sounds like tendency problems like taking zo chances of throwing an alley down to 0…. whoever does the tendencies over there at 2k needs to be fired because obviously their not watching the same basketball and it definitely plays a big part in how the game is played
