Minimal Changes, Great Results. Superstar Sim Sliders

So I have been playing since launch and finally have found a slider set that I think is PERFECT for those sim gurus.

I have a mygm mode with the Cavs (I am a Clevelander) so I know exactly how this team plays vs certain teams. Mostly bad lol but you get the point.

I am only listing the sliders that I have changed. Everything else I have left at default settings.

Difficulty: Superstar
Quarter Length: 11 minutes (you could easily do 12 if u wanted and itd work just as fine)
Shooting type: User
FT Shooting type: User
Game Speed: 46
FT difficulty: 60 (this is user preference but anything below 60 is just too easy once u practice)

USER/CPU

OFFENSE

Inside shot: 39/39
Close Shot: 39/39
Mid range: 38/38
3 pt: 44/45
Contact shot: 52/52

ATTRIBUTES

On-ball defense: 45/45
Stealing: 44/44
Blocking: 45/45 (Lowered user to 42 after this game)
Off. Reb: 52/52
Def. Reb: 48/48
Fatigue rate: 58/58 (60/60 if playing 12 mins)

TENDENCIES

Mid-range shots: 56/56
3-pt shots: 57/57
Attack the basket: 54/54

FOULS

Over the back: 65
charging: 65
blocking: 60
reaching: 60
shooting: 80
loose ball: 65

Defense assist strength: Up to you and your preference... I play on 0 for full control. Makes it a little more difficult.

I have playing a ton of games but just now started taking pics of my game results so you can see how they play.

This game was in mygm mode I lost to the Bulls (full health) 104-86. Typical Cavs vs the Bulls. Game was close after 1 as usual then Bulls built a lead and I cut it down to 9 midway through the third but had to sit Irving with foul trouble and fatigue and I never got it back down to 10 the rest of the game. I never felt like I couldnt come back though I just kept making bad passes (disregard their 19 steals probably 12 of those were from me making dumb passes cross court) and missing my open shots due to user timing being off. I am now 5-3 in mygm.

Here are some screens.

good to see another Cavs fan taking beatings in 2k.. LOL.

i feel the same way, keeping the game close to default as possible seems to get best results. just like Madden/NCAA..

dumb question, but game speed effects the clock speed, right? just like years past?

Honestly I dont know the 100% answer but the clock seems the same always to me

game speed feels like the player models slow down a little bit.. I played on 10 mins at speed 50 and could score 110 easily because you get up and down the court so much faster.. at my new setting I am scoring just in the team averages.

Quick question...When you adjusted the sliders did you start at default or simulation settings?

Re: Minimal Changes, Great Results. Superstar Sim Sliders

notable stats with these sliders

Knicks Wiz(me)
49 71
40fg% 53fg%
5/16 3pt 8/12 3pt

1 O rebd s 7 O rebds
18 D rebds 26 d rebds

i murdered from the 3, all the shots i took no1 was within 5 feet of it. i played the heat before on these sliders and the fg% was in the high 50s for me and low 60s for cpu. my 3pt was 43 whiles there was 44 with 1 shot less taken. i beat them 75-74 on a last second layup from Wall over lebron, it was beautiful. but i havent shot this high on any other sliders unlike this, but i like how if im hot my shots will keep dropping. i hit 4/7 3s with Wall. but i need to do something about the sky high fg%.

any suggestions?

i play on 6 min quarters
