I have found lowering the block slider to 10 or less AND not switching defenders and manually trying to block every CPU shot drastically limits the amount of blocks.....

I got a pretty solid game out of these sliders. I played as the Thunder. The only thing that seemed to really be out of the ordinary, is that nearly of my stops on defense came because of blocked shots. If I didn't get blocks, the Rockets would usually score in the paint with little contest, but they had some wide open misses on jumpers, too. I'm not so great on defense. Here are some individual stats:

Oklahoma City:

Kevin Durant: 50 points (18/25 FG - Four made threes - 25 points in each half), 10 rebounds
Serge Ibaka: 22 points (8/13 FG), 8 rebounds, 6 blocks
Jeremy Lamb: 21 points (8/17 FG - Three made threes), 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 5 turnovers
Reggie Jackson: 6 points (3/11 FG), 12 assists, 6 turnovers

Houston:

James Harden: 31 points (11/25 FG - Did most of his damage in the second half), 14 assists
Dwight Howard: 24 points (12/14 FG), 10 rebounds
Jeremy Lin: 17 points (8/16 FG - Did most of his damage in the first half), 14 assists, 5 steals
Terrence Jones: 14 points (5/13 FG), 10 rebounds
Chandler Parsons: 13 points (4/6 FG), 6 rebounds

Yeah protecting the interior can be difficult. Try controlling the C or the PF yourself. Instead of blocking all the time try putting your hands up using the right stick or holding triangle or hitting square twice to foul and prevent the easy basket. If you contest the shot they will miss a lot more in the paint. You also have to play help defense. If there's a spot on the floor that the off player may be able to get to and penetrate if he beats his man you gotta be ready to beat him to that spot while at the same time guard your own man. I hope this helps.

Results from MyGM using the new 1.3 updated sliders found in the original post. The splash bros were trash bros in this game luckily for me.

I'm really satisfied with the sliders now. See results below.

What changes would you make for people who like to use real player %?

To be honest I don't know. I've never used that feature.
