Can someone please explain the actual effects of changing the below sliders for MyLeague?
Hard Cap Value - 85 (do we turn off salary cap?)
No salary caps stays on
Contract Negotiation Difficulty - 75 (Difficult for both CPU and Human?)
Yes
Trade Negotiation Difficulty - 67 (Does this screw the Human and force use to give more value?)
Yes it makes it harder to fleece the cpu with unfair deals.
CPU Re-Signing Aggressiveness - 80 (They offer higher contracts? Say in a OFF salary cap, will they throw out huge numbers to get their guys -- $30+ mil/year)
This attempts to make teams more likely to resign their own players before they hit free agency.
Injury Effects - Does a lower value mean less serious?
Yes it hard to find a balance but with the rate that star players have been falling in real life I don't know what the ccomplaints have been about
Draft Class Quality - 15 (why so low?)
We use custom classes and roster with a different rating scale than the default 2k rosters so if you use custom classes this hopefully keep the league in balance for future seasons. We use custom classes so this doesn't apply to most who follow our projects.
Player Progression Rate - 28 (why so low?)
Default 50 have players reaching their peak potential in 2 to 3 years which is a little too fast. I wanted to get it in more like the 4 to 7 year range depending on the player.
Player Non-Financial Ambitions - 85 (how much of an effect will this have?)
We edited every detail in our roster including player ambitions(money,winning,etc.) So players like Ray Allen won't consider a team like the Sixers if the Cavs are making an bid on his talents.
