    House Rules (Optional)
    • I use 2K's rosters as they are the only ones I trust using their new ratings formula for 2k16. I also use game generated draft classes for that very reason.
    • I do not use position locks and would recommend against using them as well.
    • Feel free to adjust your Coach Gameplan, Playbook, Training, etc.
    • Do not have more FA signings than any other AI team has done during the season.

    Re: Mike Lowe NBA2K16 Sliders

Played about 25 games at default sim all star with real fg and ft %.
Observation is too high fg% for both sides, way too many blocks, not enough offensive boards.

This is helpful, and I was seeing the same thing. If you look through the player profile pages and their career game highs, most guys max out at 2 blocks as a game career high.

Yes, I am also using real shooting/FT %, and I have put the game speed down to 45 for what I imagine to be a 10% reduction in overall game speed.

        Re: Mike Lowe NBA2K16 Sliders

I have been using game speed at 47 my last few games.
I love ur Madden sliders is the only reason I took a look at this thread.
Can't wait to see what u come up with for this game.
I have tried every set on this set and haven't been happy with any yet.
Armors are a good start but are way too easy at the Pro setting he is using.
I really found out last year fhat super star is the best level with slider tweaks.

I also found his a bit easy, and I was using them on AS. Those were the best ones I used though. I'll be looking to match things up again against simulated game stats.

Mike... Are these gonna be based off Armor's sliders like you did with Madden?

No. They'll be based off of 2k's default sim set, because they're already pretty solid.

I'm using GM mode now too, so I'm not sure I'll tinker with the MyLeague settings.

Not yet. I sure wish they'd let you exit and restart a game in MyGM. Or the ability to create save points. I might be going back to MyLeague because it would make testing a lot easier.

                      Re: Mike Lowe NBA2K16 Sliders

First post updated with what is an early beta set of sliders (tons of settings too, not just sliders...even something as subtle as turning down the PA music volume which is way too loud--you can't even hear the announcers during pre-game!).

You'll notice that most sliders are the same for user/AI. One exception is defensive awareness, so note that change. You'll also notice that these are very close to default simulation sliders on All-Star for the time being. It's a great base to work from, and together we will do just that.

I have one slider set to red (draft class generation), because I'm curious to see whether that is a slider we should adjust during each offseason, before the draft classes are generated. We'd want to use a sort of bell curve, and NOT just "a random number between 1-100." In other words, most drafts should fall closer to that 50 range, but not all, and some should veer more than others...just not too far, and especially not every year.

Fixed. Sorry about that. Also added the coach settings I'm using (optional).

Testing still in progress. Very early stages, so keep that in mind! I'm getting destroyed, but also have a lot of room for improvement.

What would be causing an excess of AI 3 in the key calls?

Just played my first game using the Hornets in my season vs the Kings.
I won 121-114, lots of points.
                              I shot 55% they shot 49.
I was unstoppable inside as big Al had 33 and 11 reb.
                              I shot 33% from 3 6-18 they shot 7-25.
Playing at game speedster 45 males the game last a long time as the clock runs slower. Lol
Fatigue needs adjusted at 50 no one ever gets tired.
Also I had way too blocks.
Other than these things and too high of a fg% it played well.
