Help save this game for me

Man it's the same every year with me and this game. I can kill the CPU on all star with really no threat of losing and don't like playing my league games like that. And on superstar I can't win a game. Lose by double digits no matter what. I don't know what to do to find the balance. Any help is appreciated cause I love this game but its' no fun winning every game on all star and losing on superstar. Their has to be a balance somehow.
