Re: SteamyTurd All Star Sim Sliders (Every Game is Different)
I will start off by saying I am not a player that is overly concerned about "sim" stats. I am more geared towards a complete competitive game with good flow, sensible animations, and the feeling that I either ran a game plan that I felt gave me the edge, or that there were identifiable things and moments in the game that created a "turning point" where I can look back and say that's why I lost. I am reluctantly, only because of the small sample size (2 games), proclaiming that these sliders give me that. I play 7 minute quarters, using the Bulls (more of the Thibs philosophy opposed to Hoiberg's) scoring 65-80 points depending on my tempo and team I am facing. I am ok knowing that my leading scorer will drop between 15-20 ppg. Again, I am more concerned with the game play then the stats converting to an NBA box score. I am OCD when it comes to playing EVERY game in an 82 game season, so 11/12 min qtrs does not fit into my gaming schedule. But the main point of this run on post is that these sliders are very decent to say the least. I get a good mix of transition buckets, set plays, jumpshots off screens, back door cuts etc. Feels very involving and definitely flows, instead of forcing a scripted offense. Player movement is on point, and the speed differential is great between players. I can say in the 2 games I've played with these sliders I have seen some animations and defensive/offensive interactions I have not seen to this point in my other 100+ games played. Very good job on these. Makes the game as close to what I could call perfect as I have gotten from NBA 2k EVER. THANKS!!!!!!
