FIXED NBA 2k17 Defense, SIM Basketball is back!!!

So after tireless testing of trying to get sim gameplay out of NBA 2k17, I have finally figured it out!

It's the player badges!

I have removed player badges for both myself and the cpu team and I'm getting organic gameplay!

I left all defensive settings on auto and I'm seeing my players soft hedge Kyrie Irving automatically, Carmelo is shifting to cut Tristan Thompsons cut to the basket!

I'm convinced that badges are only meant for MYPlayer only!

Please try this out!

Back to playing sim basketball!!!

How do you remove badges?

What the heck is organic gameplay??? lol
To me organic means boring and tasteless. lol
I have no idea if I want organic gameplay.

Lmao. I think he means that everything runs more lifelike. Less sliding, bumping and warping of players that gives the game an unnatural look. More freeflowing.

You're talking about just removing defensive badges or all of it ?

For instance Carmelo won't be able to shoot like melo if he ain't have shot creator or something like that.

Wow...i tried this and it work out perfectly last night.. All i did was remove all the outside badges for each player before the match and wow...the game was much more realistic than ever.. Now I'll try to also remove the defensive badges in the next game and see how that works out

And the players were still shooting very well.. I even had a close game vs the spurs and drop a three at the last second to win the game with curry
