Speed slider and effect on speed-with-ball stat

Does the speed slider also affect "speed-with-ball"?

It feels like it doesn't really, but it might. I'm not really sure. Does anybody know how to test it, because I'm not seeing any big differences.

Re: Speed slider and effect on speed-with-ball stat

I think the speed slider has no effect on the speed-with-ball attribute.

I started using creweutah's sliders, where the speed is set really low (I think 20 and 15 for Users and CPU), and I used a drafted rookie with 90+ speed with ball and normal speed ratings, When he doesn't have the ball his full sprint is much noticeably slower than the seconds he catches the ball. You can really tell the difference when a player like Derrick Rose or John Wall are on a fastbreak and blow by defenders.

Cheers mate. I just ran some tests and I think you're right. "Speed" slider does not affect "speed with ball".

Crew's sliders are pretty great. I think his idea of lowering speed is pretty smart.

Re: Speed slider and effect on speed-with-ball stat

In my expierience the speed slider have only effect on transition plays. Most important for movement is the acceleration in normal movement and lateral quickness in defense (look for big men movement). The CPU always got a bonus from 2K, so don´t be fair in this slider.

Acceleration – 80/40
Speed – 37/30 (good and fair transition, both ways. fast breaks now more realistic)
Lateral Quickness - 65/35 (bigs need to be bigs. fast players had a benefit)

Copy paste it from my Sliderset thread. Test it my way and feel free to respond
