Random question. I’ve been waiting for a good set of sliders, like the past years, for a while now, but nothing’s out expect just a couple of sets. Is there a reason why nobody in working on 2K sliders this year?

7 slider sets/threads exist on here, and 1 over on the NLSC. That's more than a couple, and plenty of options to try. So I suggest going into the many slider threads here and trying them out.
