This could be undone on PC. Consoles, negative.
How were you able to get good shooting foul numbers with your sliders?

I was really starting to enjoy your sliders , and of course in 2k fashion they drop a huge update. For sure seeing huge changes to the game. Was curious when you would have some updated sliders out? Also was. Looking at your old post and I agree the layups are way to hard on 15 but way to easy on anything above 40. I adjusted it to 25 and it’s consistent depending who’s guarding me and what 7 footer is in the paint.

Thanks for confirming the patch issue. Honestly, on AllStar default, I saw that cpu was way more aggressive than user in defensive areas and I've seen some stating on this forum that CPU and USER (User A.I. teammates) do not play at the same level of equality, which true in many ways. So I kept boosting User defensive awareness and defensive consistency sliders until the User A.I. players matched Cpu's defensive intensity and ability to commit fouls. While adjusting from default, User def. awareness and consistency set at 85 was equal to that of Cpu's def. awareness (40) and a lowered value of (30) for def. consistency to be able to foul more. From there, I needed to lower the glue-like effect, hence why body up sens. and on ball def. are set at 0. Next, I needed a little bit more sag but not lower tendencies too low to where the players won't perform certain things (play passing lanes (29), go for on ball steals (18), & contest shots (7) are "11 clicks" from each other. However, User needed a boost so that players could match Cpu's effect given by those particular tendencies. So, I used the same method of an "11 click" difference, and boosted user play passing lanes to (61), go for on ball steals to (50), and contest shots to (39)...then I was able to see the same consistency of defensive, including fouls. Lateral quickness was set to (0) to lessen some of the sliding especially on defense, though not perfect. With steals success at (50), I wasn't getting enough shooting fouls due to it being a lot higher than the blocking slider (29). So I lowered the steals success slider to 20 to give it a little more balance between shooting fouls and reaching fouls. I tried the ballhandling at (0) and was surprised that it actually worked and helped aid in more fouls. I gave ball security a boost up to 4 to to make it so that you still have to compete but still attract more fouls at the same time. A lot more I can explain but this is just some of the details...

Besides the foul concerns, there are other areas of gameplay I wanted to highlight such as dunk ability. Dunk ability doesn't just affect "dunks". At "50" (default) I noticed that there is a serious unrealistic animation where pro hop stops are wonky, lightning fast where a player will jump inside then back outside of the paint in less than half a second, and gather steps leading to a layup or dunk are occasionally performed off a fake looking one step pivot at an unrealistic speed boosted rate. I turned it down below "40" for that very reason and now pro hop steps, gather steps, etc. look cleaner. "39" is even pushing it. I just lowered to "36" while testing and tweaking for a new update. Dunk in Traffic tendency has the same exact effect if too high.

Ballhandling at default is completely outrageously unrealistic. But most can't recognize it because it is masked by other default sliders that are overpowering. Players, including centers would look like they are doing a double crossover in mid air or an extra hop in mid air when trying to exchange the ball into the other hand. It looks like a mid air travel and carry violation at the sametime without landing onto the court. And you can spam dribble all day without consequences. Also, dunk ability set too high can allow what I like to call "auto drive" whereas when you push the shooting button once, the player does the complete drive for you automatically even from very long distances...which should lead to travel if a player does this from too long of a distance. At "0" I get to see a guy bobble the ball in one hand, recovering his normal dribble, when trying to overdo a crossover which captures more realism. I remember watching a game on tv Tyreke Evans bobbling a crossover dribble all the way into the paint and still score against the Bulls last season. Most would say that shouldn't happen on this game, but it certainly should if we see it happen in real life.

To me, default is "perfect looking basketball" that does not capture the small things that you would see in real life or simply playing basketball yourselves. It is perfect passing, perfect dribbling, perfect steals, etc. (of course some things should stay at default which is fine but not all sliders). But I want to see the good bad and ugly. I want to see common and rare errors and occasional wtf moments. Its a video game after all though...so it gets a pass lol.

Every slider value has a pro and a con no matter what. But I would rather do the uncommon and unique thing that others won't do.

Tried these sliders, played well.

It was too slow for me, adjusted speed to 10 in the 2nd half. Still a lil too slow, will try 20 speed next game.

User RAPs vs CPU Lakers
The CPU only shot 8 FT to my 24, Lebron only shot 2.

These sliders plays more realistic!
It completely removes the unrealistic CPU sprinting back on D.

I have one question...Did you set your Game Speed at 65 as suggested non the O.P.? Or were you using a Game Speed of 50?

As far as the free throws, you're not going to see much since the newest patch. Those free throw numbers you posted were doubled before the patch. I put out a post stating that I have to provide an update to get it back where it was.

Oh I put layups at 25 also and only saw one easy one missed.
I really like how these sliders removes the unrealistic CPU speed burst.
