CPU defense against Pick and Fade
I'm having a major issue with CPU defense on Pick & Fades. I typically call for a high screen with a 4 or 5 who can shoot. Usually the on-ball defender over-reacts to any dribbling moves that I make when the screen is set, which gives me a very easy lane to the hoop. This forces the big man to drop into the paint and leaves my pick setter wide open for 3. The worst part is that the defense sucks into the paint with no resistance when I walk around the screen. It's actually more difficult to generate good offense when I use turbo. Usually I can walk all the way into the middle of the paint.
To give an example, I just as the Celtics against three different teams. I ran a pick & fade with Irving and Horford every time down the floor. Horford got anywhere from 7-10 wide open three point attempts in the first quarter against every team.
I have tried different sliders sets, at different default difficulties, and nothing seems to fix the problem. Is this 100% a game plan flaw? I'd like to avoid changing the CPU coaching strategy if possible.
