Jhalimm - What difficulty are you using for the base?

The 0 values are interesting. What is your thinking there?

I see some sliders with Strength bumped up. You have it at 1. Again, what is your thinking with that choice?

Having Inside, Close, and Attack the Basket so low (2) are you seeing the CPU score enough inside still? Since fouls are mostly called on drives to the hoop what does this choice do to foul calls?

Interesting set - I'm curious to see your results.

My biggest issue with every slider set so far has been the shot selections. Every player on the game drives seemingly 90% of the time and that’s just not the case in real life. So I’ve tried to find a balance. I’ve used all 0s and 1s in the past and it worked for me. I’ve tried this set with all 0s 1s 100s and 50s but the 3pt attempts were too low. So I settled at 90 for 3s and I’m satisfied with it. The 2s came from me just dividing the remaining 10 points evenly.

Strength at 1 is a simple thing for me. I don’t like all the bumping when a player attacks. At 1, players can pull off a pull-up or fade or even get to the basket without the annoying finish thru contact animation. Worked for me in the past and I’m getting the same result.

Scoring is fine. As I’m texting this I’m watching a GS LAL game where LAL was up 21 and now it’s a 3 pt game early in the 4th. Steph has shot 16 3s so that’s a plus for me. Lakers as a team have shot 27. During my testing I saw the lakers shoot 8 for an entire game. That goes back to my everything is a drive to the paint issue.

Everything that may look strange such as the rebounding or the 0 defensive awareness, I’ve done before and it seems to still work. But I’m still testing. This LAL GS game just ended and I enjoyed it.

Give them a try. Let me know your thoughts. And please tweak away.

That all makes sense. I'll try it out and let you know how it goes.

After a couple of games I really like what I'm seeing. I lowered strength to 15 but seemed to get fewer fouls. I'm back up to 25 but still like to flow better without as many bumping animations like you said. I'll keep playing with this value because I like to flow with strength lower.

I put the inside and drive tendencies down to 15 with 3s at 85 and seemed to get more drive and dish chances. Teams do still drive but i like what felt like better balance with better 3pt attempts.

            Nice work.

Sounds good. Glad they’re working for you. Let me know if you run across anything else that needs adjusted.

for me, the fg% seems extremely high (around 65%)

I haven’t seen a game with a team shooting 65%. Maybe a hot quarter but not for an entire game. I would’ve made adjusts if I had.

Visually this slider set is great, good pace and feels realistic.

My problem with it is that the primarily ball handler seems to get all the shot attempts. For example, Mavs vs. Wizards had doncic and wall scoring 40+ each and putting up over 30 shots each, with beal and porzingis getting just a fraction of that many attempts.

Any idea how to adjust that?

Any Updates on this set? Not many cpu vs cpu slider sets out there yet.
