Dribble animation sliders

Been trying to figure this out for a bit..

I'm trying to increase the speed of the dribble animations without affecting the overall speed of the players.

Any suggestions?

Method 1: Increase Ball Handling attribute slider.
Method 2: Increase Game Speed (Settings) and Decrease Speed w/Ball & Speed w/o Ball movement sliders
Method 3: Roster editing. Change the Dribble Style & other dribble type animations for players.

Method 1 is the easiest, but causes other problems in gameplay.
Method 2 is the best global fix.
Method 3 is the best overall fix, but takes a lot of time.

-Do u have a set or certain formula that works for "method 2" or is that too general of a question?

-Do u know which dribble styles & which dribble type animations "method 3" that definitely work & which are broken or what we should stay away from?

Thanks

Re: Dribble animation sliders

Try Game Speed at 56-58 with Speed w/Ball Max & Speed w/o Ball Max around 60-65.

Should increase dribble speed relative to player speed with similar overall tempo to defaults.

I've been ripping my hair out all year trying to perfect the speed/dribble/movement aspects of the game, so I'd give my settings a try.

Game Speed at 57 or higher. This will be personal preference, but be warned that the animations and off-ball movement look jittery at anything over 60 IMO. I highly recommend either 57 or 58; 57 for a slightly more weighted feel to the game, 58 for a slightly more explosive feel.

*All values below are for both USER and CPU*

Acceleration - 50
Speed - 45
Ball Handling - 60
On-Ball Defense - 70
Lateral Quickness - 70

Speed with Ball (Max) - 60
Speed with Ball (Min) - 45
Acceleration with Ball (Max) - 65 (Decrease to 60 if it becomes too easy on offense)
Acceleration with Ball (Min) - 50
Speed without Ball (Max) - 80
Speed without Ball (Min) - 65
Acceleration without Ball (Max) - 75
Acceleration without Ball (Min) - 60

I’ve also been at 58 for the last month (also where I ended up on 2K19). It’s the closest to NBA movement for dribble & finishing moves.

The biggest problem I’ve seen with going over 60 is the reaction time lags animation so it gives an unfair advantage to players with quick twitch signature animations.
