How do you split a double team?

I was wondering how do you make a player split a double team while dribbling? Like Kobe, MJ, Iverson, etc did so often. I have looked on YouTube, Google, and in game. I can't find any info on it!

I apologize if this is in the wrong section, but considering sliders can change stuff, I thought I would give it a shot!
