All star 24 always sliders

Post 18 has the current sliders I am now using has of 11/1/21 was going to load them to the share but having a issue figuring out how to do that lol.



Made a few changes today and updated and edited this on 9/20/21. I have been trying to find good results using custom sliders. These are a work in progress still but Figured I would let people know what I am using and see what they think. Roster update also changed things a lot a few days ago.




User/CPU
Inside shot success 52/52
Close shot success 52/52
Mid range success 52/52
3pt success 53/53 at 52 just felt like there where a few to many open 3 pointers being missed and just over all to many times teams going like 20% for the game
layup success 52/52
shot coverage impact 50/50
shot timing impact 50/50
Dunk in traffic frequency 60/60 At 50 players go for layups to much compared to dunks.
Dunk in traffic success 60/60 At 50 seems like I was seeing to many missed dunks and I would say in real life you don't see missed dunks that often.
pass accuracy 48/ 45 trying to find a way to get the CPU to turn the ball over a little bit more
Alley top success 55/52 seems like cpu if you have equal with user is a little bit better at catching passes.
contact shot success 52/52
Ball security 45/40 Trying to get more balls that are just simple lost not like flat out stolen.
Body up sensitivity 50/50
pass speed 50/50
driving contact shot frequency 100/100 at 50 just was not seeing enough contact on drives to the basket.
inside contact shot frequency 100/100
layup defense strength takeoff 65/65 at 50 I think there may be not quite enough contest with layups same with the next setting. Also too high of fg% in the paint.With layups in real life its not always like a wide open uncontested layup or a block or foul. There is like a in-between those that you see some times meaning harder layups trying to find more of that in the game. I have seen pretty good results at 65 but may try 67.
layup defense strength release 65/65
jump shot defense strength gather 50/50
jump shot defense strength release 50/50
help defense strength 50/50 I am not really sure how this slider works have not really tried to test it might later.
steal success 52/48 at 50 for user just was not seeing enough and I also fell like cpu is better at getting steals and also at doing it without fouling
acceleration 100/100 with this and speed at 0 it helps to be able to drive past defenders more and not get brick wall animations.
vertical 0/0 just makes animations look a little bit better
strength 50/50
stamina 50/50
speed 0/0
durability 50/50 not sure what to put this at I am sure it effects how often you see injures have only seen 1 now in like 21 games.
hustle 50/50 wondering if I should maybe change this some. Some sliders like shot success you know what it is going to do. Something like this I am not 100% sure what all it will have a impact on.
ball handling 50/50
hands 52/50
dunking ability 55/55
on ball defense 47/47 at 50 for user I think it's a little too easy to not get out of position. At 45 I think it's a little too hard to be in a good position. Kind of the same thing with cpu at 50 vs 45 vs 40 with 45 being the best.
stealing 52/50 at 50 for cpu I was seeing to many games with cpu having a high amount of steals and just too many balls being knocked away.
blocking 36/47 .
offensive awareness 65/50 at 65 for user it seems like you get more off ball movement than with it at 50 even more so when you don't call a play and more just call a pick and role
defensive awareness 50/50
offensive rebounding 35/40 Rebounds in this game on default are way OP and also seems like user gets them more than CPU so that is why I have CPU higher still need a lot of testing with rebounds.
defensive rebounding 65/70
offensive consistency 50/50
defensive consistency 50/50
fatigue rate 52/52 at 50 seems like you have guys that can play like 40 minutes and still be high stamina towards the end of the game.
lateral quickness 47/47 This was the first thing I tried to get the sticky defense to be better has its a big part of what makes a player a good defense player or not and a big part that plays into why a lot of big guys have a hard time defending a smaller player was trying 40 but felt like at 40 with a few of the other settings that it was a little too easy to either get to the basket or to shack some one on the outside to get an open jump shot.
take inside shots 50/43
take close shots 50/43
take mid range shots 80/95 at 50 cpu will at times not take enough out side shoots and over all tries to force too much into the paint and that might play into seeing to many block shots by trying to force shots in traffic and also can lead to PIP being to high.
take 3pt shots 50/100 I am not sure how these sliders really impact the user side. I don't know if it makes it so guys off the ball will hang out more on the outside with a higher number or what. Any ideas on this one when it comes to how it changes the user side of things?

attack the basket 50/52
look for post players 50/55
throw alley oops 50/50
attempt dunks 60/60
attempt putbacks 55/55 at 50 I was not really seeing any offensive rebound dunk attempts.
play passing lanes 55/50
go for on ball steals 60/ 50 user is not has good at getting steals has cpu with equal settings.
contest shots 50/50 I think this slider is backwards tried 2 games at 0 and CPU had its 2 worst shooting and scoring games. With that said I might try 40 to see if it opens up the change for more good open mid range jump shoots.
backdoor cuts 50/50
over the back foul frequency 100/100
charging foul frequency 100/100
blocking foul frequency 100/100
reaching foul frequency 100/100
shooting foul frequency 100/100
loose ball foul frequency 100/100
illegal screen frequency 100/100
speed with ball max rating 100/100
speed with ball min rating 100/100
acceleration with the ball max rating 70/70
acceleration with the ball mix rating 40/40
speed with out the ball max rating 35/35
speed without ball min rating 60/60
acceleration without ball max rating 75/75
acceleration without ball mix rating 35/35

looking forward to any thoughts and feed back on all of this.

So after the roster update and the patch the other day I notice both user and CPU are getting past defenders and into the paint with more easy. May have to put lateral quick back up to default 50 and on ball defense may have to go back to 50.

Appreciate the sliders and explanations. Regarding the 2K sliders, I played games on all difficulties except rookie and I feel like on Pro gives the best results fg% wise at the end of games. Anything higher than Pro the cpu defense is way too much and scoring is under league averages.

I was having problems with that to having low scoring and bad shooting but I have started to score better and win a little more now on all star then I was at first. I don't know if that is also because of the roster update or if I have just started to get better or what. You don't find it to easy to stop CPU from scoring on pro?

So a few changes I have made and some things I am going to test.

Body up sensitivity back to 50 and on ball defense and lateral quickness both at 48 has the roster update the other day made it so guys get beat more often.

Driving contact shot frequency and inside contact shot frequency at 100 for both user and cpu.

Trying layup defense strength takeoff and release both at 70 both sides may end at 60 but want to try a few games at 70 wondering if it might lead to more fouls and also make it a little harder to finish once you do get into the paint.

Take inside shots and take close shots for cpu both at 44. Tried at 40 but cpu was passing up to many. Take mid range shots testing at 92. Will likely end up at 90-95. Take 3pt shots at 100. Really like it at 100. Post shots at 55.

Yeah I switched to All Star now. I also lowered defense assist strength from default 50 down to 5. That was causing the user to have way too much defense.

Wish I had the problem of too low shooting pct lol. I had three slider at 40 with everything else at 50 and CPU still shot 53%. With three slider at 50 they shout like 75% from three.

I should note though I am an expansion team with no highly rated players.

At 52 both me and CPU where having a lot of games shooting 3s at like 20-25%. At 53 seeing more games at like 30-35 and even some at 40+
