I'm really struggling to make contested shots... I move Shot Coverage Impact up then right?

I really want to enjoy this game but my shooting is in the 30s and CPU is in the 40s, so I'm pretty much getting blown out each game... Getting very annoying.

You think just one click will help? I see its at 49 now... Ive read in another thread the higher you put that slider the easier it is to make contested shots.

50 is default pro and I was doing fine….a little too fine so I clicked it down 1 and that was a nice spot for me.

I would keep playing and shoot in more space. Creating space is critical to shooting success in this game.

I'm tending to agree with The Kid on this one.
CPU D is too sticky, I understand what you are trying to do as open shots are OP but when I have the likes of the Grizzlies holding me to under 30% something ain't right.
Either Shot impact/Contest shots/On ball D need to be adjusted or a combination imo.

I haven't had an issue with shot % and making contested shots yet but I think it also comes down to how you play. I think playing like today's NBA will make things a bit more difficult.

Maybe I'm off the mark or speaking out of turn but I think the video games and era of NBA, Armor is going for is a different brand/era of basketball. Moving the ball, creating space, using almost the entire shot clock, just the fundamentals of basketball that have become bit lost in the current state of NBA. These also seem to be a good starting point if you want to play "average joe" in today's the style of today's NBA with some tweaks though.

I am not shooting in the 30’s though. Remember everyone plays different, different teams, different skill levels.

But I am shooting in the mid to 40’s most nights.

I hope some of you can find the right formula…..this one is working for me and I wanted to share it and hope some people will be dialed in with it.

It’s ok if they don’t fit for some. I never expect that.
