Have you noticed since Next Gen nobody talks about the AI anymore maybe because of online

2k hasn't prioritize Artificial intelligence in years and you dont see it in blogs no more

I miss the CPU being smart even if they cheated gives me challenging fun experience

AI use to be 2k last name (bread N Butter) and thats what made them special leaps bounds from other sport's games

We also dont get presentation blogs anymore

MYNBA blogs leave us guessing what they even talking about and MYNBA devs leaves us hanging after release
Knowing the bugs still there like DNA Bug has been there since it was first introduced

Can you imagine how G.O.AT. Tier the AI would be on PlayStation 5/Xbox series if online never existed😳

Honestly, it’s what keeps me uninterested about the upcoming release, whereas I used to be looking for new info literally every day… not anymore. Which is frustrating because they clearly don’t exactly do a ton other than create a new story and city…

I have always wanted a variety in coaching styles. Popovich finding players with high IQ or Steve Kerr looking for shooters with both of them running more freelance than set plays. Billy Donovan looking for pick and roll point guards with a big center and running more sets around those two. Just basically building around the systems that are already in game (that I’m not sure really have any in game value to begin with.. but still).

The replayability would be through the roof with assistant coaches having randomly generated logic allowing each play through to be different. Would be a perfect time to introduce Create-A-Coach to the mode, which is long overdue in my opinion.

I’ll keep dreaming tho.

Right along with no fundamental team defense and rotations for years.

For god sake i just opened up the game to and played as GSW vs 76ers and Klay is still and always and only matchup with the Center either Embiid or someone else!? Why 2k why it's been 3 years in a row that this whatever you call bug or what and make Klay defend centers non stop!!! WHY. How can we talk about AI improvement since that little OBVIOUS flaw can't be fixed for at least 3 years i remember of. They don't even care, or they don't ven look here for any feedback anymore. Twitter is well educated for them to get BBALL fundamentals and knowledge.

I really don't want to get your excitement away but to have a conversation based on the facts, every other courtside report or what we used to say was 'gameplay blog' the terminology may change but it doesn't get innovative with just terminlogies, per every other gameplay blog(oldhead here) they alway mentioned AI improvements. Ace is with us for a lot of years and this years AI improvements they call they made was all related with again with ACE so do you really think your prayers been answered or based on how bad it got since ACE thing was implemented would it really prosper with whatever limitations ACE has. I think ace is definitely not shining for years and bug the game out even more with whatever inside bugs are popped in with its data there.

Let me explain what does ACE mean to me and how it really made 2k not going forward instead occured a lot more bugs that even 2k isn't mostly aware of bcs they relly so much into that ACE yet we never see it shine rightfully and never see it something groundbreaking. It's just became a hindrance. No real evolution has been made for years since ACE. Game plays exactly the same after some games.

If you guys watch Westworld you know from season 3 there is a so called 'super AI' created by Incite which at the end of the season that super AI has to be destroyed to set people FREE and let evolution do its thing naturally, bcs whatever super it is you call that ai it's just become a predetermined so called boring predetermined society and no freedom of evolving involves in it and at the end to set people free which means let evolution do its thing by destroying that AI.

I think we definitely need ACE to be destroyed for good and let's get back to fundamentals being right and then evolve with all the basketball schemes into the game and let players evolve in the game with real fundamentals and scheme adjustments made. That's it no more complexity just for the sake of saying complexity. The real world is already complex as well as the basketball game itself so the real deal is to implement fundamentals and schemes into the game just like playsets and freelances etc. those were important schemes and then let people do their thing the way they like and evolve further into...

EDIT PS: ACE wants Klay to matchup with Centers, lol.

ACE wasn’t even mentioned in the AI section. We don’t know what operates within or outside of it.

Hoping all these changes produce a much more dynamic A.I...The addition of the AI being able to recognize and break chains could be amazing

I don't even know when the last time I've seen a presentation blog, lol. I do agree with the A.I. This use to be a staple by 2K in its earlier years.

Will it be user customizable?

that's my biggest question after reading about this new offensive (AI) upgrade. Tendencies haven't been touched in years and I'm hoping that all of these new tendencies can be edited by the user so we can have freedom on how we would like the cpu to attack the user offensively.

I'm a MyNBA player more than anything else in 2k and would love to see rookies develop into star players using go-to scoring moves that's suited to their offensive skill-set when playing against them.

If this a backend feature that can only be updated via the 2k devs themselves

What happens when newer players enter the league and older players retire?

Will theses signature combos be copied and pasted to younger players randomly?

Will theses signature combos compliment the players offensive capability?

So many questions ��...... Lol

All and all, it sounds like a true next gen feature
Just hoping that it's fully customizable for us roster edit heads
