Incredible Xbox Series S Bundle Deal with NBA 2K23 Michael Jordan Edition & Madden NFL 23 For $299

For those who wasn’t going to go current Gen for whatever reason and do not care about which system/series you get….with announcement of MyNBA careers as a current Gen only feature….people here have been looking for a way to get into the current Gen.

For a LTO, 2K23 Jordan Edition (digital) is free with a Series S purchase. You must add the Series S to your cart first before adding 2K23 to your cart.

The second game can include Madden 23, Forza, HALO, Saints Row and a few others.

“It’s a trap!” Lol. In all seriousness what I’ve seen re: Series S from users here is not good. Just be patient and get the X.

Me personally, I have a Steamdeck and minus for 2K23, everything is (was before MyNBA Eras was announced) going to be purchased there. If Eras mode was in the Steam version, I would not have been looking to purchased any console.

I have a Series S and it's an incredible System. I highly recommend it, well worth the price especially with a free 2k23

I have the series S and it’s amazing. Stupid good price too. Draws much less energy than the Series X, is tiny and efficient, and playing 2K on a Series X looks nearly negligible in graphics difference to me. Only problem is the storage space. But being that I only play 1 game mostly, and have only a couple others on the side, it’s perfect. If you play tons of different games then it’s worth it for the Series X for the storage alone.

                2 free games.

Apparently if you add 2K23 (or Madden 23 , Skywalker Saga or The Quarry), you get a second game free (FIFA 23, Saints Row, Halo, Forza among others on top of Madden, Skywalker and Quarry)…limited quantities.

That's a ridiculous deal. If we didn't already have one, I'd buy it hands down. The games along cost almost 2/3's of this deal by themselves.

And that’s why people should look at the deal period if they plan to purchase 2K23 and is a Franchise junkie.

That's pure BS. I have both the X and the S. Any graphical or performance difference is negligible. I ran MS Flight Sim as a test on both since it's such a beast of a system hog. There was a very, very small drop in performance with the S as expected, but it still performed excellent.

Every other game I've played plays almost, if not completely, identical on both systems. Sure the S doesn't technically do 4K, but it upscales so nice 99% of people won't see a difference.

Maybe a few years in the future the divide may grow more noticeable between the 2, but today aint that day. This is a great deal for anybody wanting to get a current gen system.

Not gon hold you, if you love MyNBA.. grab this deal if you don't have a next gen.

I went and grabbed a Xbox Series S and its awesome.. yeah it has no CD ROM drive or only has 512 GB, buttttttt great for the time being.

Financially on paper, yes, it is an amazing deal. For me personally, I bought Madden 23. Played it for 3 days and got a refund. The game looks great and on the Series X is smoother than butter but it's just not "fun". I can play MLB The Show for hours. On nights I run pro am matchups and league games (WR, UPA, MBPA etc), I somehow am able to run 4+ hours. After 2 games of Madden I am bored and get off the game. Madden and 2K have zero competition and I think the 2K devs have become a little complacent but Madden is just a stale af franchise right now. I literally would rather play NFL 2K5 via an emulator than play modern day Madden.

Videogames haven't been stored on CDs since 1999. They are on Blu Ray discs. It's 2022 though... I haven't bought a physical copy of a game since like 2014. But yes I agree it is a really good deal if you don't have a console and/or can't find/afford a Series X.

I don't know what you're hearing....Me and my kids all have Series S and we couldn't be happier! Next Gen goodness, low investment. It looks better and is portable also! I traded in all our Xbox Ones etc at Gamestop when they were offering $300 a piece in trade. That was a great deal, and this one is too!

Developers are also finding ways to increase memory and even add a disc drive in the future to the S:
