It's always been annoying to me how there's not an easy way to see things like standings, awards, coaching records, etc. so I put this google spreadsheet together with the thought of only having to enter standings and awards on the data tabs and have the automatically calculate on the Pivot Table tabs.
This is a WIP but it contains all of the years that are covered in Eras. If you don't plan on using those seasons, then feel free to delete the rows of the years that you aren't playing to make things a little cleaner. Also, if you filter the data tabs by season then you won't have to deal with so much scrolling.
You may want to look it over closely to make sure that I didn't make any mistakes. I entered some data for the first two seasons to show as an example just delete those before you start.
Some quick notes:
- You only enter data on the Tab that is labeled as a Data tab. The Pivot table tabs pull info from the data tabs.
- For coaches that are fired midseason, you will have to add a line on the data tab for the new coach as well as both of their records. I added an extra column at the end as a checker just to make sure the records are correct.
- On the Pivot tables for records/coaches records just select the + by each team/coach to see the breakout by season and the to collapse.
For anyone who is not familiar with spreadsheets, feel free to ask any questions and I'll try to get back to you. Also, If anyone has any suggestions then I'm all ears. Personally, I don't like entering a ton of data each season so I didn't include stats or anything like that.
