I have the ps4 version and getting a ps5 Sunday. When I go to play my nba2k23 for ps4 on the ps5 will features such as eras appear? Thanks

You will probably need to download the ps5 version…

Both versions are pretty different from my understanding.

Good to know. The person at GameStop said when you download the game to the PS5 it would update the graphics and that I’d potentially have to pay $10 for that. Wasn’t sure if this was accurate and if content was updated as well

That's incorrect. If you purchased only the ps4 version, you will have to buy the ps5 version. The ps4 version will look better on the 5, but will still only be the ps4 version.

I thought you had to buy the super duper, ultra mega max version to get both versions.
